Mike Tyson gets his priorities in order: Marries his longtime girlfriend
I am not a stickler for everyone marrying their mates. But it took a tragedy like losing his daughter for former boxing champ Mike Tyson to put a ring on his longtime baby mother’s finger.
This comes as a surprise to some who have seen pics of Tyson with numerous white girls on his arms. But this goes along with what I said in an earlier post about women who stay in their lane when the man is providing for her and her children.
Former Heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, 42, married his longtime girlfriend Lakiha Spice, 32, in a civil ceremony at the Las Vegas Hilton on Saturday, June 6, 2009. This is Tyson’s third marriage. The couple wed two weeks after Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter Exodus was found hanging by a cord from a treadmill in her Phoenix home. The child died at a Phoenix hospital on May 26, 2009.

I think the death of a child is the 2nd/3rd leading cause for divorce. Looks like it brought these two together.

Sandra quick question hopefully you will ask. Since we all seem to like spend a lot of time discussing your gurlz Tiny and Monica maybe you could do a guest blogger type of deal. Like a set time readers could post questions etc and they could answer them. Since I believe a good number of readers reside in the A, could give deets on her salon etc and Monica could plug her business(es). Instead of “friends reading and relaying messages.” I know some artist do this occasionaly and its always done on the radio with listener questions. You could start a trend!

Whatever happened to the doctor he was married to? He was married to Michael Steels’s sister. I remember they made a big deal of showing him and her off and then we never heard anything else. Now he’s married again.

@ iscream I saw those never cared for her with her psuedo ny accent growing up in Louisiana self, that just enforced my disdain. yo know ol gul Lisa is the one to do it too.
I hope he and his new wife receive some counseling (both mental and spiritual) because they have not had enough time to process the tragic death of their daughter.

maybe losing his daughter made him realize life can be taken from you at anytime. and this is something he wanted to do but put it off. i pray for the best for them

i want to believe the marriage was in the works already and tragically, the situation with his daughter happened as the big day got closer.
