The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns have come to an agreement on a blockbuster trade that sends Shaquille O’Neal to Cleveland to team with LeBron James, according to sources.

Aww shucky ducky now! I might have to start watching basketball again. But we know Shaq has a tough time getting along with prima donnas and Lebron is shaping up to be just that. He wants that ring, but does he willing to share the spotlight to get it?

Shaq is a center and a huge one at that. He doesn’t need a lot of speed and agility to guard the hoop and get the basketball in. Dwight Howard is one guy on one team. Plus don’t forget about Lebron. He only needs a little help. I think this could be good.

LeBron is far from a primadonna. He is one of the most liked players in the NBA. He has always been a team player … even in high school when he could have easily not shared the spotlight (my daughter went to the same high school).
There is no “I” in team and if LaBron and Shaq become team members it will make for an intersting season.

Cleveland could’ve got Shaq this past season during the trading deadline and didn’t pull the trigger on the deal… AND Cleveland LOST in the Eastern Conf. Finals. IF they had Shaq Cleveland would’ve been battling the Lakers for the TITLE THIS YEAR !!!

Lebron refusing to shake hands then coming out with that arrogant statement put him in prima donna league for me even before he started sporting the “Look at me. I’m the greatest.” t-shirts. Maybe it’s a publicity stunt. Maybe he’s tired of being viewed as a goody two shoes. Admittedly I have not watched basketball since I moved to Charlotte where the team is just now hitting its stride, but has Shaq really fallen off so much that he can’t be an asset for Lebron?

I’m not a Lakers fan but Shaq could NEVER have stole Kobe’s thunder. Shaq didn’t even make the playoffs and Kobe and the Lakers WON the championship while Shaq was Twittering.
I still don’t think Cleveland will be in the finals. They’ll have to get pass the Celtics and the Magic. Just because I don’t like Shaq (probably even more than I don’t like Kobe now), I hope they’re azz are sent packing in the second round. First round if they get the Bulls.

Shaq IS a much better free-throw shooter now… Here’s not nearly as horrible as His PAST dictates. Shaq made the 3rd team ALL-NBA behind D-Howard & Yao a MAJOR Achievement for a 36-37 year-old athlete !!!
I AM A Lakers Fan and LBJ & Shaq this past season would’ve been playing in The Finals and it would’ve been WAAAAAAY BETTER than the Punk-AZZ Magic being in it
