Oh shoot I forgot about Run’s house and I don’t have a DVR shoot. No matter what the reasons were, wouldn’t you, as a fan rather CB do a MJ tribute that was well put together/rehearsed than a poorly put, last minute/less than half a$$ tribute to MJ? All CB fans should be thanking their lucky stars he was not a part of the tribute to that show last night. I personally think that BET should have waited and done it right. I do however give them credit for honoring him, Wyclef, A-Keys and others that were not even celebs.

@aqtpie I think there is some truth to both rumors/stories. Chris was reharsing and the plug was pulled in the 9th hr for some reason. He will get his time to do his MJ tribute so its all good. I am glad he knew back in 2006 that MJ was also a fan of his work.

As hyped up as BET had everyone thinking this was going to be a tribute to MJ, do you honestly think that they would have gave a damn if Jay or Bey performed, *it wouldn’t have in the least cost them ANY ratings* if that rumor were true? I personally do not believe Jay or Bey have clout enough like that. I read a loooottt of blogs and I did not read one comment *even before the death of MJ* about anyone watching the show to see Bey or Jay perform *even though some may have*. I believe the Cover Girl rumor over that one.
