Sandra, you are right again. so I’m cruising on twitter being nosy as hell and I stumbled across my “old” crush Hill Harpers page and girl he is GAYYYY! 90% of the people he twitters to are effeminate males, i.e singers or very homo-erotic looking men. And then I read twitter with him and this agentsmithfiles guy thats his assistant and they seem very very very close.
I knew he was too good to be true. Harvard Law Scool graduate in his 40′s and not married with no kids and always around Gabrielle Union but denys her as his girlfriend he’s gay in my mind cause she sleeps with every straight single or married men with a shlong. I’m sorry but what a freakin waist I was upset Sandra cause I was feeling him.

I don’t always look at a man over 35 not married with the sideye, but Hill is that rare combination of good looks, intelligence, talent and cultured, and thats why I was thinking he was gay.

Great points! But…he’s not the average Joe. He has much more to weigh when seeking a good woman. He has to avoid the gold-diggers, groupies, psychopaths and many other things.
He could also be very introverted, but not necessarily gay. Even though he has the good looks, the money, and the intelligence to boot, it’s also possible that his dates may not be feeling HIM like that. He might be a habitual turn-er-off’er.

My husband was 22 when I met him and he’d never had sex with a woman and neither had any of his other three close friends but they are as straight as can be. Out of the four of them, two are still virgins but have been in committed relationships like Hill Harper and while the other has become a bit of a (hoe) dare I say it and then my husband who is of course married to me.

It’s sad that you have to have a bunch of out of wed lock babies and tons women to define your man hood. I don’t know of any mother who tells their young so go and get as many babies as you can and sex up as many women as you so you can make mommy proud.
I guess i grew up in a different time. When I grew up, men were not taught to be baby daddies, they were taught to be father and put your kids, wife and home first. They were taught to be providers for their families, not repliers on government or a woman. They also taught us to not have kids that you didn’t want or weren’t willing to take care of. As my grand mother use to tell us, you cant do nothing with a bastard child and pointed of out of wedlock children who stayed in trouble all the time and told us that’s why you need a mommy and daddy at home. They taught us not to get a baby by a woman you couldn’t take home to momma, didn’t go to church, keep a clean house or leave them alone without suspecting them of cheating.
However, if a woman wants to say that because a man doesn’t want to be a husband/ father and opts out to be a baby daddy, sleeps with every woman in 100 mile radius or chooses to go to school become educated respectable man of the community instead of some street corner thug, I feel sorry for you. No wonder the quality the black family is crap. I dont really like kids, I love my nieces and nephews to death, mentored a few along the way. However, I love them best when they are at home with there parents after they have came thru and visited for 30 mins.

If someone says that their belief in God, they’re religion or the Bible is they’re reason for not believing in homosexuality than who are you to say their belief is wrong. Why is that straight people be judged for their beliefs but everyone has to be tolerant of gay people and their beliefs.

Look everyone has an opinion. Christian (the church) need to quote scripture, not opinions. I am 41 years young. I have been through a lot of things in my life. But I know one thing Jehovah, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and angels are real and so are Satan and his demons. The word of God is our sword. It is powerful. Something written in a magazine now in the United States can mean something ENTIRELY different elsewhere or be completely irrelevant after a matter of time. Just becuase you interpret something one way does not mean that was the authors intent, now, today, or centuries later.
In elementary school my teacher involved our class in an experiment. She whispered the secret in one students ear. That student whispered the secret to the next student….and so on. By the time everyone relayed the msg with their own interpretation; by the end it had taken on an entirely different meaning.
@ attorneymom 154. What is GOD’s WORD? The scrolls and writings that we call the Bible were originally written mostly in Hebrew and Aramaic. That has been translated in over 100 languages. Also, the exact composition of the Bible is dependent on the religious tradtions of specific denominations and regions…..MEANING your Bible may be written ENTIRELY differnt then mine dependent on which culture and denomination you identify with or orginated from. Christianity for example …you may identify with a multitude of variations of Christianity that I do not. (Ex Catholicism, Easetern Orthodox, Anglican, Protestant…..and the lists go on and on down to various shisms of Christianity and then finally Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians etc) Most people would be shocked at how many variations there are. Man has used organized religion to control people since the dawn of time. Im not saying scripture is not important. But what is probably EVEN MORE important is understanding where and when that scripture originated, how it was changed, and who it was intended for….if you are ever to discern what “God’s Word” is and NOT MAN’S.

Look, believe what you want. We will all have to give an account for our lives one day so there is no need to continue to beat a dead horse. I enjoyed the dialogue. Keep your head up!!! Increase the peace and all that good stuff.
