I’m still chuckling at the folks who ran out and spent $600 on this phone just so they could be the “first” to have it.
And the complaints about the iPhone coupled with ATT’s service are too numerous to mention.

And I chuckle at the fact u spent 450 on a sidekick lx which u can find on ebay for 290 =)
im fine with my blackberry.
the craziest thing is the very first iphones didn’t do anything. people couldn’t get picture mail, text messages, and it had so many bugs. supposedly the 3g one was better , but screw that . i paid $ 89 dollars for a refurbished motorola q 9 and it works like brand new and does everything i tell it to do . lol i agree about at & t sucking . i have their cellphone service and it’s really MEHHHHHH.

I know I got the Mogul but my friend works for sprint and I paid 100 to her and she got me the mogul so I’m going to see if I can get the PRE that way to///crossing my fingers…you know you gotta have a hustle…i would never pay 600 for a phone..

3G is the bomb if you got Sprint dont know about anyone else…& if i’m not mistaken 4g or something else is coming

@flyqtnva: Yes, your statement is accurate. While everyone is JUST NOW getting 3G, Sprint is moving on to 4G. Yep@ Sprint is the ish!!!!
@ fly i heard the 3g one is way better than the first , but i just don’t see myself paying $199( that’s the price from at&t) for a phone i may not like in the long run . plus i hate touch screen phones . i’m more of a texter than a talker. touch screens don’t work for me .
AT&T customer service SUCKS! I have Sprint 3g palm centro and I will be getting the pre-palm!

at & t in houston sucks. while at work i should not have to sit in the toilet to get service on my phone lmao
I’ve been with Sprint since ’04 but I believe I will be switching to AT&T and grabbing the iPhone in August.
I really want an iPhone.
anti -pc all i can tell you is make sure at & t is up to your standards before u switch .

@anti-pc just buy the unlocked version of the iphone that can be used with Sprint from ebay. Sometimes they even come with insurance as well. No point in switching if you like the service just for a phone.
On another note in the Philly area Cingular gets service underground in the subway system which is like unheard of…
Still got my trustee SK3 & since I use to work for T Mobile they still have me on the employee plan almost 2 years later so this is what I will stick with. 15 dollars for my cell & sk with internet and I get like 2k or 3k mins on phone with unltd text on both. Can’t beat that with a bat.

I have a Storm which I haven’t really been happy with since I got it back in November. I’d much rather have an iphone BUT I wouldn’t leave Verizon for nothing. I love the service I get with Verizon. No dropped calls, great customer service. They’ve added a few service updates to the Storm since I got it which makes it more tolerable but I’d rather have an iphone. But I’m not ready for the bad service AT&T is going to provide.
I hear the iphone is coming to verizon at the end of the year. I’ll wait til then.

Buy an unlocked iphone from ebay, you can use it with any service.

me too anti pc and I already have at&t both me and hubby get 1000 anytime, inlimted everything else for $32.99 a month(he used to work there)

I have been with at&t tooo doggone long but they kept trapping me ( ok.. I trapped myself) into a longer contract. 8 more months to go… just got a palm treo from ebay.. it’s cool I guess…
But AT&T was on my shyt list for the nations lowest drop calls commercial.. I couldn’t get service in my own house and dropped 70% of my calls. It has improved though.
I love my Iphone 3G because I am a tech gadget girl. My Iphone lets me customized it with new Apps. Yes, I am the type that has to have the latest and greatest version. So, I was watching the Live Apple Conference. None of the other smartphone can come close to the Apps for the Iphone. Traded up from my Palm Treo to Iphone no regrets.
Bill Gates wife Melinda said she wants an Iphone. But, Apple products are banned from their home(s).
BTW, be careful with your phones. My daughter and several of her friends recently had their blackberrys stolen (at different times)
well i got an iphone and had one since day one. most smart phones, blackberries palm pre are all about 500-600 if u dont buy one without a contract because they lock you in for a couple years and getting like 2′gs off of you sure they can knock 200-300 off the phone. the thing that sets the iphone apart from any other phone is the app store there is simply and app to do everything u can think of and cant think of and the fact its simple to use. the fact that every touch screen phone that comes out is compared to an iphone tells you something. its like that toyota camry commercial if car companies keep comparing there cars to a camry why not go get a camry cause obviously thats the bar you trying to get to. and somebody said something about verizon the iphone will be on att at least until 2011 exclusively so you can hang that dream up
