The federal government is spending $423,500 to find out why men don’t like to wear condoms, a project government watchdogs say is a nearly-half-a-million-dollar waste of taxpayer money.
Researchers at Indiana University’s Kinsey Institute, with funding from the National Institutes of Health, are investigating why “young, heterosexual adult men” have problems using condoms. The study will include “skill-based intervention” to teach grown men how to use protection.
The first phase of the two-year study called “Barriers to Correct Condom Use” will be a simple Q&A, but doctors say the second phase will plumb uncharted territory.
“The second phase involves a laboratory study, and focuses on penile erection and sensitivity during condom application,” reads the abstract from Drs. Erick Janssen and Stephanie Sanders, both of the Kinsey Institute. READ MORE…

Now that was quick and free. This is kind of a waste of money but some ppl don’t get the messege so you have to reinvent ways to make it heard loud and clear.
Some are not going to wear a condom because they are too lazy to use them and too lazy to go to the health dept to get them for free. Not sure why so many are so willing to put their lives on the line. It’s not just about STD’s but unplanned pregnancies.

With the numbers of AIDS and HIV cases on the rise among black women, I think we are not doing enough to see what the hell the problem is. I think some of the study should focus on these stupid ass woman who allow these dudes to run in them raw. I just got a text from my line sister, praising God because she just got back blood work and she was good. Now the dude she was sleeping with has 5 kids already. When I told her she should have been making that fertile fool use condoms she got mad, and told me that I was judging her and that having a baby wasn’t the issue…..Get the fcuk outta here…..STD’s and unwanted pregs SHOULD ALWAYS BE THE ISSUE!!!
