This is the case of murder, intrigue, Hip Hop, and a missing blinged out chain rumored to be worth $100,000.
Here’s what we know so far: Joe A. Young Jr. was shot to death in an Anchorage, Alaska parking lot over a chunky gold encrusted medallion, otherwise known as Hip Hop ice. The chain allegedly belonged to Atlanta rapper Sean Paul, of the duo YoungBloodz.
The three shooting suspects in custody in Anchorage claim all they wanted to do was get the chain back to its rightful owner, Sean Paul. Police believe that a man known on the streets as “Cole” or “Cold” put out a $10,000 hit on the victim after the chain was snatched from around Cole’s neck at a local nightclub.
A friend of the dead man told police that Young stashed the chain in a safe deposit box before he was killed.
“I’d like to put my hands on it,” Anchorage homicide Detective Sgt. Slawomir Markiewicz said.
Cole, real name Naron Celestine, 38, has a long history of drug-related arrests and convictions. But Rex Butler, an attorney for one of the men Cole allegedly hired to kill Young, disputes the feds’ allegations of a hit.
“I know the government is sticking to its talk about a contract,” Butler said. “But the people that we’ve run into in our investigation are saying this guy (Cole) couldn’t put two nickels together, much less $10,000.”
So far, the chain is still missing. So we will probably never know if Young was killed for a $100,000 chain or what we suspect is worthless Hip Hop ice.

Cancer Patients Offered Doctor-Assisted Suicide Instead Of Medical Care
Some terminally ill patients in Oregon are being denied medical treatments that could prolong their life. Instead, the state is offering to pay for doctor-assisted suicides.
It’s a fact of life that the United States has run out of money and some Americans will become expendable — especially if ObamaCare is signed into law.

Since the spread of his prostate cancer, 53-year-old Randy Stroup of Dexter, Ore., has been in a fight for his life. Uninsured and unable to pay for expensive chemotherapy, he applied to Oregon’s state-run health plan for help.
Lane Individual Practice Association (LIPA), which administers the Oregon Health Plan in Lane County, responded to Stroup’s request with a letter saying the state would not cover Stroup’s pricey treatment, but would pay for the cost of physician-assisted suicide.
“It dropped my chin to the floor,” Stroup told FOX News. “[How could they] not pay for medication that would help my life, and yet offer to pay to end my life?” READ MORE…

I am an avid reader of your site and I know by now that you are not a kool-aid drinker. The above link is from CNN regarding the prisoners (or former prisoners) of Guantanamo Bay. I just thought that you might be interested. I understand some of the politics behind closing the prison.
The Administration is concerned about this country’s reputation. But I am more concerned about why some of these criminals are roaming free on a beautiful tropical island and living in an American government sponsored apartment…. and if some of the prisoners are to be transferred to another country, they might receive $100,000 for re-settlement. The closing of Guantanamo Bay and the movement of the prisoners may or may not affect us greatly. But I can’t help but to ask if our tax dollars [are] going towards this as well? Friend: Usher Took Tameka For Granted
Tameka Foster’s friends have been assigned damage control duties by Tameka. This weekend she dispatched her loyalistas to hit up all the blogs and the mainstream media this weekend in order to diminish the damage already done to her sterling reputation (HA HA HA, that was a joke!)
Anyway, I had my own “insider” story all set to publish, but People.com beat me to it. So I guess I’ll hold off on mine until the time is right. That’s what I get for not taking a speed typing class in high school.
Tameka’s friend told People that Usher couldn’t part with his bachelor ways, and he had problems remembering he was a dog on a chain and kept forgetting to call home when he was going to be late.
“No one I’ve spoken to is surprised,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. “As bad as this is gonna sound, it was never a matter of ‘I wonder if they’ll divorce,’ but more like ‘I wonder WHEN they’ll divorce.’”

Tameka’s attorney, told Peach Buzz: “All I can tell you is that my client loves her husband and she loves her children. She’s trying to keep this as private as possible.”
There are unsubstantiated rumors floating around that Tameka had the goods on Usher, and she promised to spill the tea if he didn’t marry her and set her up for at least the next 18 years. So, the rumor goes that Usher agreed to her terms of 2 years and 2 kids.
This rumor is as ridiculous as it sounds. But I’ve heard it more than once.
