Celeb Style: Celebs and their Ray-Ban’s
This Summer promises to be a scorcher. To protect their eyes from the sun’s harmful rays, celebrities from Rihanna to Teyana prefer the wildly popular colorized original Ray-Ban Wayfarers.
The colorized Wayfarers are available in a variety of bold colors. But the hawtest Wayfarers I’ve seen thus far are not available to the public (at least not yet).
I know this because, after spotting rapper Fabulous rocking a pair of black Ray-Bans with white arms, I decided I had to have a pair to add to my (small) Ray-Ban collection.
But after coming up empty online, I spent the past two weeks scouring every Atlanta area mall and calling around for the shades with no luck. I was told those particular frames were custom made for Fabolous.
But on a hunch, I spoke with loyal reader Chris, who works at the Sunglass Hut in Perimeter Mall. Chris told me he had inside contacts at Sunglass Hut corporate. He special ordered a pair for me and I picked them up this weekend. So I can happily say that there are now only two people in the country with these custom Ray-Ban Wayfarer shades: me and Fabolous — and I’m not even a celebrity!

Al Roker finally puts Heidi and Spencer in their places
Al Roker is just like me and everyone else in America who is SICK TO DEATH of these two attention seeking morons, Heidi and Spencer Pratt!
I’ve never seen an episode of “The Hills.” So I fail to see why these two have been giving A-list star status. But I have watched scenes from the survival themed reality series “I’m a celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.” Their behavior on the show goes beyond just scene stealing and publicity seeking.
Some of you may recall that Heidi was rushed to a local hospital after faking an illness so she and Spencer could get off the show after just one week of filming.
Anyway, Roker lit into the narcissistic couple during an interview on MSNBC with a series of tough questions.
Afterwards, both Roker and the so-called Speidi’s went to separate media outlets to slam each other.
BIDEN CONCEDES: Says “Everyone Guessed Wrong” On Impact Of Stimulus Plan
Vice president Joe Biden told “Meet the Press” that “everyone guessed wrong” on the impact of the stimulus plan on the economy.
Well, not everyone guessed wrong. Only the Obama administration and Congress guessed wrong when they okayed that massive $800 billion spending bill without even reading it!
Even the children knew that the pork filled Stimulus package was just plain wrong and doomed to failure.
Barack Obama’s promised 3.5 million jobs have so far failed to materialize. Biden instead promises “600,000 jobs” will be created by the end of the Summer. Those jobs amount to nothing more than Summer jobs, which hardly helps to feed entire families that are now out of work.
Biden also points to the creation of 150,000 government jobs that would likely have been available anyway since the outgoing administration freed up many job positions.
Aren’t you glad your family doesn’t live in New York?
Nowadays, children don’t have to sneak into X-rated theaters anymore (like my brothers and I did when we were kids living in Miami) — the pr0n is everywhere!
Calvin Klein has done it again. The designer has managed to offend even hardened New Yorkers with his latest raunchy soft core pr0n billboard.
The billboard features four partially clad adults — one woman and 3 men — engaged in an orgy. It sits smack in the middle of SoHo, an upscale area of NYC populated by trendy boutiques. Anyone can see the billboard, including young children.
Where are the protests? Does the residents of New York City have no shame? I couldn’t imagine seeing anything this inappropriate — so out in the open — when I was a kid!
Barbara Lippert, Ad Critic for Adweek Media Magazine, called Klein’s newest ad a “desperate act.” But Klein, 66, has been called desperate before.

“I think he really wants to get back into the ballpark because he doesn’t seem relevant anymore,” Lippert said.
“The worst thing would be to get no attention at all. So if you need to throw in another two or three dudes to get that attention so people will say, ‘what’ and really give it a second look, he’ll do that.” READ MORE…

Republican Under Fire For Comparing Michelle Obama To Gorillas
A South Carolina Republican is under fire for linking First Lady Michelle Obama’s ancestry to gorillas. Well, it’s true if you believe in Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. But we’re sure that Rusty DePass wasn’t trying to teach human evolution to visitors of his Facebook page.
We’re sure his aim was to insult the First Lady, and we’re sure she couldn’t care less:

Now Obama wants to cut spending on Medicare and Medicaid!
Wow. You can’t help but to laugh at the news coming out of Washington DC these days. Because if you don’t laugh, you’ll end up crying.
In addition to the $600 billion in tax increases (that Obama promised would not happen), we now learn that the Obama administration plans to cut spending on Medicare and Medicaid!
For those who aren’t aware, Medicare covers the elderly (over 65) and the disabled, while Medicaid covers the poor and under 65.
The president suggests trimming federal payments to hospitals by about $200 billion over the next 10 years, saying greater efficiencies and broader insurance coverage will justify the change. Hospitals, especially those with many poor patients, say the proposed cuts are unfair and will harm the sick and elderly. [link]
How can Obama justify cutting spending on those two much-needed federal programs, while at the same time suggesting that 50 million Americans need insurance?
Naturally, the nation’s hospitals that treat the majority of poor, disabled, homeless and elderly Americans are not happy with Obama’s proposed changes.
And Congress into buying into Obama’s health plan either because, for one, it’s prohibitively expensive ($2.5 trillion). Some lawmakers suggest taxing the health benefits that YOU currently receive from your employer to pay for the 50 million uninsured Americans.
Last week Obama announced another $635 billion in planned tax increases, a plan that isn’t sitting too well with some members of the House.
House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio said Medicare and Medicaid need reform, “but serious changes should not be rushed through Congress as part of a new government-run program that will raise taxes and make health care more expensive.” READ MORE…
