A source very close to R&B crooner Usher confirmed to Sandrarose.com last night that Usher is indeed following through on his plan to file for divorce from his estranged wife, and former stylist, Tameka Foster.
It must really suck to lose both a husband and a job at the same time.
Yesterday, several media outlets reported that Usher had filed for divorce from his wife in Atlanta.
Despite the fact that there is no divorce petition in Usher’s name on file at the Fulton County Superior court, the inside source said (in so many words) that the divorce was a done deal.
Foster, who is 10 years Usher’s senior, drew the ire of his fans when she left her husband and children to marry Usher’s money.
For the past 6 weeks, Tameka has spent almost every waking moment on the social networking service Twitter.com fabricating lies about her relationship with Usher. She intentionally mislead almost 12,000 clueless followers — most of them Usher fans.
When news broke last week that Usher was seeing another woman, Def Jam Records exec Grace Miguel — Tameka downplayed the reports and referred to Miguel on her Twitter page as a “product manager for Justin’s.”
Usher and Tameka have lived separately over the past year. They married in a civil ceremony in their attorney’s office in July, 2007 followed by a lavish wedding in an Atlanta suburb in August, 2007. They have two sons together, Usher Raymond V, 19 mos. and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 6 mos.

According to online news sources, Usher Raymond IV officially filed for divorce from his estranged wife Tameka Foster Raymond on Friday (6/12) at Fulton County Superior court. A hearing is scheduled for July 15 at 2:30 PM.
Celebrity Wedding: Boris Becker & Lily Karssenberg
Some of you old heads are very familiar with German tennis star Boris Becker who dominated the men’s Pro circuit in the 80s. You also know that Boris has a certain predilection for mixed and biracial females.
Boris married his latest biracial catch, Dutch model Sharlely “Lily” Karssenberg, in St. Moritz, Switzerland today. And he didn’t even knock her up first.
Boris has two biracial sons, Noah and Elias, with his first wife Barbara Feltus, whom he divorced in 2001. Feltus made out like a bandit with a $14.4 million alimony settlement, a luxury seaside condo and full custody of their two sons.
Becker also has a biracial daughter, Anna, who was conceived during a brief sexual encounter with the child’s mother inside a broom closet at the restaurant where she worked as a waitress (I kid you not).
Anna’s mother, Angela Ermakova, was forced to take Becker to court to prove paternity.
Anyway, congrats to Boris and Lily.

Some of us were getting a little worried after seeing Janet Jackson in L.A. with a burly female bodyguard. We wondered why Janet needed such a fearsome protector? Was she being stalked?
Thank God the paparazzi found her sort of acting natural while out & about in my homeland of London, England. There is no truth to the rumor that Janet took in one of Beyawnce’s shows while she was there. I sincerely doubt that Janet is that tone deaf.

Obama Fires IG Who Exposed Political Corruption (More Hope & Change?)
Media outlets are investigating some funny business involving Barack Hussein Obama, AmeriCorps and one of his biggest supporters.
It seems that an AmeriCorps inspector general received a missive from an Obama legal counsel last night ordering him to resign within the hour or be fired. There was only one small hitch: Obama’s legal goon was working outside of the law.
Obama himself co-signed the Inspectors General Reform Act prohibiting inspector generals from being harassed or fired in retaliation for doing their jobs. The measure also included a provision requiring the president to notify Congress “at least 30 days” before firing any IG.
Maybe Obama simply “forgot” about the provision — as he so often does — when he ordered the immediate firing of the IG — after business hours.
As soon as the media began looking into the attempted firing, the White House quickly backed off from their hasty decision to fire the IG.
So what did this AmeriCorps inspector general do to get on Obama’s bad side? His job, of course.
An inspector general’s job duties includes weeding out corruption and fraud within government.

The firing apparently stems from Walpin’s investigation of a non-profit group, St. HOPE Academy, run by Kevin Johnson, the former NBA star who is now mayor of Sacramento, California (and a big Obama supporter). “[Walpin] found that Johnson, a former all-star point guard for the Phoenix Suns, had used AmeriCorps grants to pay volunteers to engage in school-board political activities, run personal errands for Johnson and even wash his car,” the AP reports. In April, the U.S. attorney declined to file any criminal charges in the matter and criticized Walpin’s investigation. But at the same time Johnson and St. HOPE agreed to repay about half of the $850,000 it had received from AmeriCorps.
So much for Obama’s empty promises of transparency and eliminating corruption in government.
Woman who missed doomed Air France flight dies in car accident
Some true believers say when it’s your turn to go, only Divine intervention can alter your fate. In the case of Johanna Gantheler, God intervened to alter her fate when death came calling on her twice in two weeks.
Ganthler was supposed to be among the 228 souls on board Air France flight 447 that broke apart in midair and plunged into the sea hours after taking off from Rio de Janeiro on May 31.
But Ganthler missed flight 447 to Paris after arriving late with her husband at the Rio de Janeiro airport that day. Gantheler had been on vacation in Brazil with her husband. The couple caught a flight to Paris the following day.
Fate finally caught up with the Ganthelers one week later in Kufstein, Austria. Mrs. Ganthler was killed when the car they were riding in swerved across a road into an oncoming truck. Mr. Ganthler survived the crash with serious injuries.
The news of Mrs. Ganthlers dance with death has fueled religious debates in chat rooms across the globe.

Celebs Out & About: The Rock & Family
No, Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, and his ex-wife Dany Garcia are not back together. The wrestler-turned-actor joined his “best friend” Dany and the couple’s daughter, Simone Johnson, at the “I Have A Dream” Foundation’s Spring Gala in New York City last night. Rock lost his mind when he left that hottie for some groupie bimbo.
I bet he’s sorry now since Dany clearly isn’t smelling what the Rock is cooking any more. I hear she is rolling in dough even without Rock’s child support checks.

Rihanna works her black magic on Dwight Howard again
Rihanna cast her evil spell on Dwight “Superman” Howard and his Orlando Magic last night causing them to lose game 4 to Kobe Bean and his Lakers.
With Rihanna sitting courtside dressed so seductively, Dwight didn’t have a chance. He seemed to be under a spell as he missed one easy lay up after another. His two missed free throws at the end of the 4th quarter cost his team the game, and maybe the series.
We already know Rihanna will be sitting at courtside in Orlando for game 5 to help finish the Magic off. So I won’t waste any more of my time watching the remaining game(s) of the 2009 NBA Finals.
Dwight Howard and the Magic had a great run during the regular season. But, alas, there will be no rings for them this year. Better luck next year guys.
