Radio show hosts suspended for their opinions on trannies

KRXQ management suspended the hosts of the Rob, Arnie & Dawn Show indefinitely for what it said were “offensive comments about transgendered people.”

The station posted a letter on its website from D.J. Rob Williams of the morning show who wrote, “We presented our opinions on a very sensitive subject in a hateful, childish and crude fashion.”

Here’s the text of the opinions that got them taken off the air.

“If my son, God forbid, if my son put on a pair of high heels, I would probably hit him with one of my shoes,” States said. “I would throw a shoe at him. Because you know what? Boys don’t wear high heels. And in my house, they definitely don’t wear high heels.”

“[T]hey are freaks,” Williams said. “They are abnormal. Not because they’re girls trapped in boys bodies but because they have a mental disorder that needs to be somehow gotten out of them.”

“You got a boy saying, ‘I wanna wear dresses.’ I’m going to look at him and go, ‘You know what? You’re a little idiot! You little dumbass! Look, you are a boy! Boys don’t wear dresses,’” States said. And about eight minutes later added, “You know, my favorite part about hearing these stories about the kids in high school, who the entire high school caters around, lets the boy wear the dress. I look forward to when they go out into society and society beats them down.”

The Sacramento Bee has reported that companies Bank of America and Chipotle have pulled their advertising as a result of the statements. [link]

Dwight Howard vs Superman TV Commercial

I love Dwight “Superman” Howard’s comedic angle on the T.I. vs Tip debates. As you know, Dwight and his Orlando Magic lost game 2 to the Lakers last night.

But the only consolation (besides his ridiculous paycheck) is that Dwight remained so much sexier than Kobe Bean while doing so!

Honestly, is there a finer man walking the planet today than Dwight Howard?

Racist Israelites Go in on Obama

You’ve probably already seen this video, or at least heard about it. These same guys when sober will probably deny being racists. But as they say, liquor is the truth serum.

Sarah Palin: ‘I Told Ya So’

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will appear on FOX News tonight to say a big ‘I Told Ya So’ in the face of a new report that Barack Hussein Obama will spend this country into a $11 trillion dollar deficit.

Additionally, critics are wondering what happened to those jobs promised in Obama’s wasteful $800 billion Stimulus package as the unemployment sits at its highest level in 25 years.

Instead of finding solutions to fix our ailing economy, Obama is doggedly pursuing Congressional approval for his wasteful health care plan that is doomed to failure. There’s that word ‘wasteful’ again.

I’m not sure what part of “Obama isn’t qualified to run this country” — people don’t understand.

From Drudge Report:

As President Obama vows to spend the ‘stimulus’ faster, Governor Palin tells host Sean Hannity: ‘You gotta quit digging that hole!’

HANNITY: What do you make of – look at the state of the economy now…

PALIN: Well, when you consider that the federal government is about eleven trillion dollars in debt, and we’re borrowing more to spend more.. it defies any sensible economic policy that any of us ever learned through college. It defies economy practices and principles that tell ya ‘you gotta quit digging that hole when you are in that financial hole’

Palin continues:

“America is digging a deeper hole and how are we paying for this government largesse. We’re borrowing. We’re borrowing from China and we consider that now we own sixty percent of GENERAL MOTORS – or the U.S. government does… But who is the U.S. government becoming more indebted to? It’s China. So that leads you to have to ask who is really going to own our car industry than in America.”

HANNITY: You know but it goes back – It does go back a little to the campaign. I mean, ‘spread the wealth, patriotic duty…’

PALIN: Kind of a ‘we told ya so’. READ MORE…

Jermaine Dupri’s Manager Signs Kelly Rowland To Management Contract?

Kelly Rowland is under new management, according to Destinyschildrumours blog!

The former Destiny’s child singer, who recently parted ways with her longtime manager Matthew Knowles, has reportedly signed a new contract with artist manager Jeff Rabhan.

In addition to managing music mogul JD’s career, Rabhan formerly managed singer Kelis whose career has been sidelined while she deals with personal issues.

In a recent interview about the music industry’s dire financial straits, Rabhan said:

“Sales are so down and so off that, as a manager, I look at a CD as part of the marketing of an artist, more than an income stream… It’s the vehicle that drives the tour, the merchandise, building the brand, and that’s it. There’s no money.” [link]

This may or may not be a good sign for Kelly who can’t really count on a tour to rake in the big bucks. We’ll see what other career moves Rabhan has in store for Kelly who currently co-hosts TV series The Fashion Show with fashion Demigod Isaac Mizrahi on Bravo Network.

Tiny Visits T.I. in Prison

Rap artist T.I. entered a minimum security federal prison in Arkansas on Tuesday (5/26) to begin serving a 366 day sentence on federal gun charges.

We learned through interviews that T.I., who is commonly referred to as “Tip” by family and close friends, didn’t want anyone visiting him while he does his time in prison.

According to friend Bobby Ray as told to the Atlanta tabloid Creative Loafing:

“He doesn’t want anyone to see him in prison. I thought about it, I was definitely going to come by a lot. But he doesn’t even want his kids to see him there. He doesn’t want that image implanted in their heads, of him being in jail. I can kind of understand that.” [link]

But three weeks into his 52-week stretch, T.I. couldn’t bare not seeing his baby, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, one more day.

Although T.I. talks on the phone with his children regularly (the smallest ones think he’s away at school), he reportedly told Tiny that he missed her terribly.

So yesterday, Tiny and a friend caught a flight to Arkansas where she visited with her man for the first time since his incarceration. The friend wasn’t allowed in to visit T.I. because her name wasn’t on the approved visitor’s list.

Which brings us to those letters you mailed T.I. that were returned unopened. I learned yesterday through a source close to Tiny that unless your name is on an approved list, your mail will not be forwarded to T.I. My bad for not knowing that before I wrote my post giving you his address.

As you know, Tiny and Lil Wayne’s ex-wife, Antonia Carter, are set to star in their own reality show which will air later this month on BET. The show will focus mainly on family and Tiny’s plans to keep herself busy (and prosperous) while T.I. is incarcerated.

According to an inside source, Tiny’s salon — the one you’ve read so much about on the blogs, is close to opening officially, but there’s still much work to be done. Despite the fact that you will see the salon on her reality show, it isn’t open yet.

But the big news is that Tiny is putting the finishing touches on an as yet unnamed girl group whose members will include Tiny’s daughter Zonnique Pullins (affectionately known as “Meek”), Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter, 9, and two sisters — one of whom is the daughter of Silk member Jonathen “John-John” Rasboro.

I’ll let you in on a little drama that occurred on the set of the reality show: John’s daughter asked him to attend her audition for the group, but John, who has another family, disappointed her by refusing to show up. I hear the little girl was in tears.

In another touching scene, Tiny’s mom Dianne Cottle-Pope and her dad Charles Pope renewed their wedding vows. Mr. Pope founded the group The Tams.

Tiny, who produced much of the background vocals you heard on the Xscape recordings, is busy writing age-appropriate music for the girls with her former band member Kiesha Miles. I’ll post the group’s pic as soon as one becomes available. Some of you may remember that Zonnique was in another group called QT-Possie a few years back. The other member of QT-Possie, Jasmine, is helping with the group’s choreography.

Tiny is due to visit T.I. again today before she returns to Atlanta tonight.

UPDATE:

I just spoke with a source close to Temeka, who is still in Arkansas visiting T.I. in prison. Tameka said to tell my readers that “anybody can write to Tip.” She said there is no pre-approved mailing list. So get your write on! And make sure you put that you’re a member of Sandrarose.com in your letter so he’ll know to write you back!

Sister of Former ‘View’ Co-host Sentenced to 12 Years in N. Korea Labor Camp

Jailed journalists Euna Lee, left, and Laura Ling, sister of former ‘View’ co-host Lisa Ling posing at bottom, left with her

The North Koreans further tested Barack Hussein Obama by sentencing the sister of former ‘The View’ co-host Lisa Ling and another TV reporter to 12 years in a North Korean labor camp. The harsh sentences were more than what outsiders expected.

The two reporters, Laura Ling and Euna Lee, were detained along the border of N. Korea. They were charged with “illegally crossing” the border of the secretive state. The trial lasted 5 days and outsiders were not permitted to attend. Legal analysts expect U.S. officials to negotiate their release.

“If at any point the girls went into North Korea, then we apologize on their behalf,” said Lisa Ling, who noted that her sister suffers from ulcers.

There are over 200,000 political prisoners in the N. Korean labor camps where conditions are described as “brutal, hunger is widespread and attempts to escape usually result in a public execution.”

North Korea, which has brazenly fired off long – range rockets and set off a nuclear bomb in a bold test of the new U.S. president, has yet to respond to Obama’s move to halt N. Korean sea and air shipments suspected of carrying weapons or nuclear technology.
