Especially to the "problem child". I'm so proud to say that my grandmother's raised me so well that i didn't have a desire to sneak out the house or have sex before the age of 18.......I was pretty focused as a youngin....what I do regret is not being taught about love, because it kinda "knocked me down" and KNOCKED ME UP too soon. My Grandmothers didn't give me the birds and the bees talk.....they just told me NOT to be "fast", so I wasn't. I am thankful to have a daughter now.....because I feel I have all the bases covered and I can give her a little more insight than my Grandmothers did for me, but at the same time encourage her to carry herself like a lady AKA keep ya legs closed until you at least graduate high school.....I know that we would love to say until you get a college degree, but thats not being realistic now a days. I hope she will at least try to beat my record. I was a senior in High School when I decided I was ready.....my little sister was too!
