Blaming it on emotions? Mariah's voice sounded like someone taking his/her nails and scratching down a black board. She has never been one of my favorites. I only like one of her songs and I can't remember which one. She is definitely overrated. I rather hear Queen Latifah sing than Mariah. And believe me, I am no fan of Queen Latifah's singing. Okay, since it is out there. I’ll have to take your word for it. I have never been a Mariah fan. Too much air in her vocals for my taste even when she had the ability to hit those falsetto notes. What I do know is the last few times I’ve heard her live she was horrible. Just my opinion which truly doesn’t count because I have never given her a dime of my money.
