LMAO @ bootleg muslim… glad I can’t see the video… I mean I might actually agree with it.. self hate was obviously a common thread in the jackson family b/c it was more than just MJ getting work done.. he was just a perfectionist and didn’t know when to stop…

    Adios Mios!

Why are you becoming Obsessed with MJ? 3 post before 11am.

    :offtopic:

I watched that Tiny and Toya show in its entirety :| as much as I wanted to support them, I can’t. Neither of them has a active career so the show literally is about nothing.

I love _______ (fill in the blank) was about dating and they had games and obsticles to keep you entertained.

I just don’t see what this show is about. Again, I gave it a shot & maybe if chanel surfing and nothing. I mean nothing else is on I’ll give it another chance. But sorry to say that show is the bottom of the barrel.

Speaking of mindless TV did yall see Megean from Charm School, Rock of Love, I love money fame is getting her own show. “Megan wants to marry a millionair” I don’t know why I like her.

    @Daisy…
I’m not a muslin, but Minister Farrakhan speaks the truth…no matter what the religion. I have a lot of respect for him.

My “really” comment was that MJ’s insecurities go without saying. It is what MJ made it.

Right @ Daisy…I respect everybody religion as well. Im not a follower of the Minister, but I will say this….and I hate to past judgement, buuutttt it was so obvious that Michael had issues with his looks. I just wonder if anyone ever approached him and been like, dude, what are you doing? I read somewhere that he consider his face a work of art….oh my!

Daisy, I spent the first 10 years of my life growing up in the Muslim half of my country and I’m in a long term interfaith relationship with a Muslim, so don’t assume you know whether or not I respect Islam and Muslims. I’m sure you know most Muslims do not recognize the nation of islam and its followers as real Muslims.

  14. 14
    miamore73 says:

I also grew up around this “type” of Muslim. I agree with Karaz and the bootleg Muslim comment. That’s not to say I agree with or disagree with the Ministers comments. Sometimes he makes sense sometimes not so much IMO> But in my opinion The Nation of Islam followers are a different type of Muslim.

  15. 15
    Daisy says:

I wouldnt call either bootleg and I stand by my comments as well. Nation of Islam or Muslim its NOT my place to call members of either group BOOTLEG! I believe the Min serves Allah and is a man of God plain and simple. I never said I agreed with him 100% of the time but he speaks truth to POWER IMO more times than not!

@Karaz I didn’t ASSume anything for your info.

Minister Farrakhan is brilliant and articulates his view points extremely well. I have great respect for him.

  17. 17
    KaraZ says:

Well when your reply starts off by referencing my “bootleg muslim” comment and the ends with “So glad I try to respect everybodys religion regardless if I agree with it or not” the implication is that the person you’re referencing does not try to respect every body else’s religion… at least when you follow the basic rules of (propositional) logic.

I refer to the nation of islam and its followers as bootleg because while they appear to have an Islamic way of life, they believe that Allah sent down another prophet after Muhammed and this is against the fundamentals of Islam. Its like how some Christians reject Mormons fundamentalists and how many Jews reject the celebrity Kabbalah.

I didn’t criticize what he said (actually haven’t even watched the clip), truth is Farrakhan has spoken many truths about subject related to the black experience worldwide, but his brand of Islam is bootleg compared to the other Muslims who follow the teachings of the Qu’aran.

    wiggy2272003 says:

No disrespect to the minister but unless you are a professional in the field I cram to understand why you on television giving diagnoses. Also like others said if you alter you looks anywhere near the degree Michael did obviously you didn’t love yourself at least the physical self.

  21. 21
    iscream says:

Well plastic surgery or not. Micheal has said several times over the years he loved himself. & He had allegator skin (thick skin). He may have had a complex about his looks but who is anyone to say he didn’t love himself.

Everybody trying to get their lil fame off of this mans death. When was the last time Farrakhan did anything for the black community. Or any community for the matter. My memory isn’t the greatest :blunt: but didn’t he do some shysty mess to Malcolm X?

    coaretained says:

Let me find out you can take public opinion, call a newstation and get a check… let me find out…in this recession?? Shooooooo….

  23. 23
    Daisy says:

@ice NO he did not have anything to do with Malcoms death (that was another case of trying to get us to turn on each other) One of Malcoms daughter is close to the Min and he does alot for the community in Chicago sometimes to no avail but he keeps trying. I am a huge Malcom fan as well!

The Min does NOT need MJs death to get the limelight SMH

Also what have you done to help the black community? When you point the finger you have THREE coming back your way and that is to everybody!

    ELove says:

    @iscream
LET’S NOT go there, Farrakhan is FAR FROM Perfect AND your memory isn’t that bad if you can remember that little tidbit about him (Farrakhan & Malcom-X …)

    miamore73 says:

I do something for my community everyday. By taking my black ass to work and keeping my babies off the street. **** I think if more of us did for us our “community” would be better off.

You don’t see YT waiting for Brad and Angelina to do anything for they’re community. They do for their damn selves.

  26. 26
    iscream says:

What have I done for the community? Shyt I am the community I need the help.

I just wonder where was Farrakhan when Micheal was alive. I know he joined the nation at one point in his life. Why didn’t they lend a hand, why didn’t they speak out then.

Anyway. I see you & your partner  & getting sensitive over this man so I digress.

    attorneymom says:

I love Minister Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. Enough said. Next.

    Daisy says:

@ice far from sensative just speaking my .02 like you and everybody else.

@Mia THANK YOU! We as a ppl love to say we have NO black leaders then quick to question somebody’s motives and what have they done for them lately BS whatever! NEXT!

  29. 29
    miamore73 says:

    Hold On.

ice and Daisy I was actually agreeing with both of you. I stand on both positions.

I appreciate the leaders we have that DO help out the community when and where it’s needed. But at the same time I feel like I’m so tired of my folks waiting for help and then blaming YT or whoever when they don’t get the help they want when they need it.

Farrakhan could do more than wasting time on speaking about Michael. On the other hand I’m not the one to sit around waiting for anybody to do anything for me or mine.

I had a conversation with my mother recently. Mind you she’s a black power child. Afros and Green and Red Afro pics could always be found in the house. As well as weed clips….:)

BUT this conversation had something to do with white people keeping us down now cause everybody out of work and they know black people don’t have college degrees so we can’t get the jobs and only white people went to school blah blah blah.

Now the statement about college may have been true at some point in the past. I just don’t believe that’s true today. I believe that our people need to start accepting responsiblity for the decisions they make and stop blaming other folks cause they made poor decisions whether it be they’re credit, they’re education or whatever. No white man came and knocked that girl up 4 times before she turned 20. No white man was sitting there putting that crack pipe in your hand and lighting it for you. No white man told you to hang out with Craig and dem instead of getting your education. CUT IT OUT!!
