Ra artist John Forte is in Atlanta working in the studio with producer Dallas Austin. Celebrity photographer Prince Williams caught up with them at the Hollywood Hideout at Club VICE (formerly, Royal downtown).
How do you like Forte’s ‘Jesus’ dreads?
As you know, Forte was busted for possessing the 31 pounds of cocaine with intent to distribute and was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years in the federal pen. Forte served just under seven years in prison before his sentence was commuted by the outgoing president Bush in January.

Police Find Narcotics, IV Supplies in Jackson’s Home

According to TMZ.com, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s, executing a search warrant, found a virtual pharmacy set up inside Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch back in 2003.
What the sheriff found were heavy duty narcotic painkillers and sedatives, hypodermic needles, IV supplies and oxygen tanks, among other items.
Among the drugs found were several intravenous IV bags containing a milky white fluid. Although the potent sedative Propofol is a milky white emulsion, Propofol is packaged in vials. The milky white fluid could also be Lipids, a source of nutritional calories which is administered via IV. That would explain Jackson’s scarecrow appearance and the fact that no food was found in his stomach during autopsy.

Interestingly, no IV infusion pump was listed among the items seized from the house. An IV pump would be necessary to administer both Diprivan and Lipids safely.
Did the Jacksons Force Paris To Speak At Memorial?
That’s what some in the media are whispering. They say little Paris Jackson, 11, was pushed to the forefront before she was ready. They may be right. Paris’ speech seemed forced — like she was under a lot of pressure to “perform.” She seemed to be under duress and anxious to please her new caretakers. A sure sign of duress was when she cried but no tears fell.
It was too much pressure brought to bear on a child who lived her entire life under a veil.
One industry friend that I spoke with last night remarked on the fact that Michael Jackson would be appalled if he were alive to see his family exploit his daughter in such a manner. The child that he shielded from public scrutiny all her life — being used for some cheap publicity.

Online is reporting that Paris was seen and heard backstage at the Staples Center telling family members that she did NOT want to make such a public statement. I Antonia ” Toya” Carter have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single “Every Girl”. I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed. Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father. Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.
4 Charged With Digging Up 100s Of Bodies To Resell Burial Plots
You think you’ve heard it all and then this news comes along. 4 Chicago, Illinois cemetery workers — including the manager — were arrested and charged with grave tampering. Wait, it gets worse.
Prosecutors on Thursday charged three gravediggers and a manager in an elaborate scheme in which hundreds of corpses were dug up at a historic black cemetery near Chicago and strewn in a weeded area or reburied with other bodies so that plots could be resold, authorities said.
As frantic relatives of the deceased descended on the Burr Oak Cemetery — the final resting place of lynching victim Emmett Till, blues singers Willie Dixon and Dinah Washington — investigators said it could be months before they fully understand what took place.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, flanked by distraught family members, expressed the outrage he was feeling at the workers accused of tossing human remains into a remote area of a cemetery.
“In my judgment, there should be no bail for them, there should be really a special place in hell for these graveyard thieves who have done so much, hurt these families,” he said. READ MORE…
