It was cute, minus the fact that they could not dance. That is what made it fun. People have to get creative I can’t tell you how many boring weddings I’ve been to.

personally i thought it was cute…mayb a lil inappropriate for a church, probably better suited for an outside wedding, however i really thought it was sweet…something fresh and new and i bet a whole bunch of other ppl will follow…
i LOVED this vid. those yt folks was jamming (in their mind). yes a tad bit inappropriate and maybe overrated but it WAS sweet.

I am saying that only one judges what is sacred in HIS house so if you go around worrying about what other say is sacred there will be a church full of heterosexual, married parents with wives in veils and long skirts.
BTW, I give things a pass cause they are human, if we all lived as Gods there wouldnt be a need to worship one.
They danced in the bible and as a praise and trained dancer I know I have gotten my 2 step on in my church and our praise team will take songs from the radio (new and old) and mix them into gospel songs and we get our PRAISE and
ON! I hate a dead dry church if you don’t have good praise and worship session then I am not a happy camper..lol Of course the word/message has to be on point as well!

@Keely girl we get down at my church we will do group dances like the electric slide (various versions)..lol we have a teen hip hop dance ministry and they def. get CRUNK when they minister. I love God, music and dance yes I do..lol I agree you can have a traditional church wedding but your heart could be all out of order you just never know

I attend St Phillip, and I agree with conforming to the world, but I would think that applies to in and out of church. So a saint on Sunday from 11-1 and all hell breaks loose after then?

you funny…No if they are a SAINT its all the time not just SUNDAY…and IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM did I say I was A SAINT….I like things in the WORLD…I like to see what Rihanna has on every now and then..I got 2 more yeays left in school before I let go of all my worldly things (im a work in progress)but I still feel like the leaders of the church who r supposed to lead us to God are leading us to the world….this video is a perfect example..none of that will pop off in my church if I decide to go that route.

Oh, my pastor makes it very clear what to do, and church is just like college (which you can identify with) you do your studying at home, then report for clarification. It is hard to be a soldier, but I dont see the difference between this and not wearing stockings with your dress. Its ok though, its just an opinion.

I attend the same church as Sandra Ray of Hope Christian church(www.rayofhope.org) where I have a FEMALE Pastor something alot of Chrisitans frown upon but she is an AWESOME women of God who has a HEART for Praise and Worship so she gets down right along with us..lol I am being fed so I am good!
I sure would do the electric slide in front of Jesus and ask him to join in!
I ain’t no bible thumper, but in Jesus day did they have…Choir Anniversary, Pastor Anniversary,Mens&Women Day, and any other special program……..Did the preachers have the best Camels or mules for transportation….
@Fly I cant tell you the last time I wore stockings to church most of the time I am in pants and my last commment is awaiting moderation UGGGH I think cause I put my churches website in it. I attend ray of hope where I have a female pastor something some chrisitans frown upon but she has a heart for praise and worship and God and she will out dance us some Sun..lol

This is where I am….to me (IMO) from the bible Satan IS the ANGEL OF MUSIC…so often u hear artist say…i have to smoke..drink..get stoned…in order to make incredible music or beats (google)..now y would I want that same music in church…at a wedding…that I’m going to bless this union (in the name of GOD) and they just danced in on SATANS wings..

@Goat lol that was funny. IMO they had special ceremonies and services back in the day. I don’t have a problem with Pastors having the best rappers and actors do. As long as the Pastor can afford whatever it is they are driving on their salary I could care less. As long as I attend a church where we GIVE back to the community(local and internationally) and members of the church I could care less. As long as I know the Pastor isn’t mis mangaing the churches fund I could care less. Alot of these mega Pastors have BUSINESSES OUTSIDE the church they are not driving in these luxury cars based on what salary they get from the church IMO.
@Fly Just because some artist say that doesnt mean ALL artist have to get high and CB and his friends are on record as saying he doesnt smoke or drink even when asked about turning 21 he said he wasnt into that scene. After this past yr that may have changed but im saying. Also, do you listen to secular music at all? I am glad somebody is trying to start off their marriage saying F O R E V E R!!

Satan crosses all boundaries, not only in music. The individual act is judged on a case by case basis(whats for you is for you), it depends where the action was coming from. Again this was a couple executing the covenant that God created, I simply took the dance as praise.

Hello All. I was brought up in a Pentacostal Holiness Church, you know, fire and brimstone, you’re going to hell if you don’t live right, etc., so it’s kind of hard for me to conform to the contemporary churches of today, i.e., their music, their dancing, their dress, their message. I attended a new church yesterday, nondenominational, and most of the young ladies were scantily clad, boobs all out, tight skirts and pants, and plenty of makeup. My mother, God rest her soul, used to tell us not to dress inappropriately when going to church so the men won’t be lusting after you in church, that church is a place of worship and to respect it. I’m not saying these younguns were disrespecting the church but perhaps themselves?
I havent heard any correlation between Beyonce and church so that would be consistent with what you are saying. Once again though, these people didnt chose to shack up and have babies out of wedlock (no offense cause I did), they were uniting. My thing is the people that worship idols, are they less Godly than people who judge others? I am simply saying, no one here can cast stones, congratualtions are in order for the bride and groom.
Didnt watch it, but saw it on CNN. I think it was cute, definitely memorable. That will a really fun video to watch later on in life. 25th Anniversary – something like that.

I got to alot of churches for Observation..I attend Liberty University…double major religion & pysch…we go to see who is preaching NEW AGE..you would be surprised…some churces are come as u are….and yes the women come dressed like their going to the club…also I’ve been to a church where they will cover u up with a sheet or towel…when if they were preaching the right message to begin w/people wouldnt come that way…

honey girl we could swap some stories I’m sure…we are all works in progress…i didnt have any kids out of wedlock..not because I’m perfect but because I came from a sinlge PARENT home (RIP MOM) ..i saw the struggle 1st hand …i got my first JOB AT 15 w/a work permit from school cause i was TIRED of my mom STRUGGLING to support 4 kids….i was happy to come home and give her my $….. i said A MAN WILL PROVE HIMSELF WORTHY..if he wants ME….& i I stuck with it..(with ALL MY FRIEND PREGNANT AT 15, 16, 17….I was like NO WAY! I still made relationship mistakes…went after the wrong guys and all that …..
ALL I’m saying is I just dont want to see a boat load of people doing this in CHURCH…anywhere else but church….

someone who is sacred, holy, pure, blameless, dedicated. They became saints by means of the Holy Spirit, which can only come from God. God therefore chooses His saints, and gives them of His Holy Spirit to make it possible..

Yes we could and I rather enjoyed the convo. I was working at 14, not to help my mom, but to feed myself in a house with 2 crack addicted parents. I had children out of wedlock,because I thought that would heal my void. Not even 10 years ago a pregnant teen-ager was frowned upon in many churches and homes alike, and thought of as ungodly and unsacred. THAT is why I always see a story behind a story, its not always as simple as 2+2, so again as I said before if we went by what everybody else thinks is sacred I

keely107 I’m glad you found him…cause I knew him..but I didnt accept him til after my mom passed and I was always SAD & ANGRY….then he gave me my husband & then my children to fill my VOID….my father was addicted to crack as well..thats y he wasnt around..but guess what He’s not anymore..that ni@@a went in rehab the day after HER FUNERAL and been straight ever since…..as far as what is sacred it has already been laid out to me…and who are we as humans to alter it. BTW I’m proud at what you acomplished….some people dont make it out..so that tells me your a very very STRONG person.

I know God and Jesus is my PERSONAL Lord and Saviour! I will agree that alot of ppl go to church and do NOT know them for themselves and I think the reasons vary BUT I do NOT think they are bad ppl either so to speak. I walk and talk to Jesus each and every day!

Now my family knows why the ex-girlfriend/jumpoff/babymoma was showing her azz. She and my brother were still messing around. We were trying to figure out why he had not told her that he was getting married this past weekend. Well, I took care of that ish yesterday. I told her azz that he is married just like I told her 12 years ago with his first marriage. She did not listen to me 12 years and ended up pregnant with my niece. Some women are just plain silly. Darn, 12 years later and we still having the same conversation.
