Who’s That Guy?
I received a few requests from readers requesting the identity of the “thug” photographed walking with First Daughter Malia Obama in a post I wrote yesterday.
Thanks to loyal reader Patricia for coming through with the young man’s identity. It turns out he is Michelle Obama’s hair dresser, Johnny Wright. My readers are so informative:

Hope all is well with ya! I’m writing from Chicago. The “thug” that these fools are referring to is the First Lady’s hairstylist, Johnny Wright. How dare they call him a thug!! Sandra maybe you’ll want to consult him since I heard that you were on Twitter talking about how black beauticians always made your hair shed and white ones don’t (smacking my teeth). Race has nothing to do with that, it’s the people you chose to let up in your kitchen.
fly those are looking like natural 2 strand twist to me. Where do you see perm at? My moma pressed my up until I started combing my own hair and when you get a press and curl done right, it’s just a straight as a perm, if not straighter.

YOUR RIGHT EXCEPT NOT IN THE SUMMER….NO PERM..straighten your hair and go outside…see how long it be straight..thats y I say the got perms..my daughters both are all natural to…but when my oldest gets hairs straight in summer it does not stay….winter is fine..my other daughter has curly hair & I dont do nothing to hers but put Carols Daughter HAIR MILK in
I like the twist I do my oldest hair like that sometimes..

& Men started perming their hair before women. I remember getting a press in curl. Woooo that comb use to burn the back of my damn neck.
& in my stupidity. After getting a perm I tried to curl my hair with a curler from the stove… SMH I swear to goodness my bang burned and cumbled right before my eyes.

I saw the previous post. I always thought kids were off limits, but they went in on her. I somewhat feel bad for the Obama’s because this is truly how a great number of people feel about a black man being president. They went in on her. That’s not cool.
In the first pic I thought he was Arsenio Hall. LOL.

Speaking of the Obamas Michelles father was buried in Burr Oak cemetery in the chi where all those graves were disturbed. So sad SMH
Daisy – I don’t know many people who don’t have someone buried there. It’s a historical black cemetary. They traded down through the years and the care started to fall off and then….you know the rest.
