I know we’re not all perfect, but…
Can someone email OK! magazine and inform them that this is not Jermaine Jackson, it’s his older brother Jackie. Don’t you wish that mainstream mags like OK! would at least consult with the one token black on their staff to make sure they put up the correct photo of a Jackson brother? They do this all the time and it’s annoying. They probably figure their audience doesn’t know one Jackson brother from the other unless his name is Michael.

These mags don’t care. Same way they don’t verify pictures is the same they don’t verify stories (lies) that they print about MJ. As long as it sells.
Through Michaels death he has been reborn. I can’t tell you the number of young children I come across who have come to idolize him. (My obsessed son inc). Is it only here or has anyone else noticed this. I’m just waiting for them to bring the MJ buttons back out people use to rock on there clothes.

I guess we are to be greatful they put blacks in their magazine. I was surprised to see Kimora and the family, most mags don’t want baby pics of black folks.

My daughter is ALWAYS listening to Heal the World and Man in the Mirror and the songs inspired her to start a foundation to help siblings of children with cancer since her brother is battling bone cancer…
@ Anna - I’m >< with you on that. Girl they might as well keep their stories if they’re not going to get it right. They’re out here confusing folks, and crossing the eyes of their readers. We can stay right in Ebony, Essence, and Jet and all the other black magazines for all their foolishness.

Sometimes women tend to get pregnant around the same time. I have girls both born in August, my son October. I have 2 sisters with August bdays and I was due to be born in August, but I was born in June.

yeah we have a beta vcr too, then we got vhs. it was embarrassing never being able to get tapes cuz by the time we got a vcr, vhs was the ish.
i can name all the bruhs, as most black people prolly can i suppose. what is his mission, and why wasn’t it in place before? i guess if other people gone make money off his death, y can’t the family.
Thanks guys - I missed those posts - It is her father’s son - He’s 10 and she is hoping to be a bone marrow match for him so she can donate. IT breaks my heart… The foundation is not up and running yet - she just had the idea the other day….I’ll keep you guys posted. Thanks a bunch ((((cyber hug))))
Oh and my daughter is 14….I’m thinking of having her see a therapist to deal with her feelings - cause I’ve run out of words to say…gotta stop talking about it now…I’m crying….all suggestions are welcome though…Thx fam!
I’m tearing up myself. As mothers we want to protect our kids from everything. You have a beautiful daughter with a big heart. The only advice I can offer is to reach out to parents of children who have cancer. I’m sure there has to be forums for support. On there you should be able to find parents in similar positions that may be able to offer you some advice.

I know it’s racist to say all such and such people look alike, but all the Jacksons do look alike - silly mistake
