Beyonce and Lady Gaga Land 9 VMA Nominations Each
OK I’m confused. I understand why British Superstar Lady Gaga is worthy of 9 MTV Video Music Awards, but what has Beyonce done lately to earn that many noms?
Lady Gaga was thrilled to learn she led the pack in nominations, but she’s probably scratching her head wondering why she’s going head to head with Bey.

On the other hand, Beyonce sounded like she’s been there done that (*Yawn*). “I’m excited and honored to be tied for most nominated for the VMAs,” Beyoncé said. Yeah, I bet you are. I’m just wondering how much daddy paid for each nomination. Or did he get a package deal?

Lady Gaga is the ish and her album The Fame is really good. Im glad someone who just released is able to get many nods like she is a pro. Its nice to see someone else for a change.
Also, Lady Gaga can sing live, play instruments, dance while singing, writes all her songs, and designs her own costumes. Lady Gaga only plays small intimate venues and she is great. Lady Gaga was on the NY scene since she was 17 performing at clubs, wearing leotards and all the crazy outfits. Akon did well by signing her. sorry, im getting a little too excited

GaGa is straight but she doesn’t excite me, when her songs come on the radio I sing them but I don’t recall her having strong vocals which is fine by me but that’s new to me that ppl think she can sing lol

I am glad that I’m not the only person who isn’t feeling Lady GaGa. Her chit is on the verge on techno/rage which makes me cringe after hearing it for more than 30 seconds.
Bey probably got. Video of the Year, Best Dance Video, Best Female Artist, Choreograhy, and probably nods for If I were a Boy, Single Ladies, and Halo. That’s how it adds up to 9.
I’m not going to like, I like Single Ladies both the song and the video. In the same instance, I think that after being in the game for a decade you evolve from shaking your groove than and calling it entertainment.
Lady Gaga is Italian American and not British. She does have a great voice but I can’t stand her music. A lot of people seem to like her though, she’s on her way to be a really big star in the near future.
Funny thing about Lady Gaga is that many people think she’s really a man.

Not everyone is going to sound like Aretha, but check for yourself…. In my opinion she can sing and sounds better than most artist out today.
Lady has a really good voice, I tried posting youtube performances but I dont think Sandra is having it

Lady Gaga is a native New York and she can sing.
Gaga is what these videos been missing that is why she is nominated for so many…i dont listen to her music either but I have seen her videos and they are GREAT! VERY ARTISTIC…Beyonce on the other hand was nominated for SINGLE LADIES not an array of her videos just one video 9 times….GAGA is nominated for several DIFFERENT videos.
