Beyonce Sued By Reality TV Star

Beyonce is facing legal action from a former PROJECT RUNWAY contestant who helped design the singer’s costumes for her I AM… tour.
Chris March, the third runner-up in the fourth series of the hit reality TV series, is suing the singer and designer Thierry Mugler, the tour’s creative adviser, after they allegedly failed to pay him for the extravagant stage outfits he helped make as head of costumes for the global trek, reports CocoPerez.com. March is seeking the $43,500 he claims he was promised.

I remember Chris, he’s fron Chicago. I can see him making those kind of outfits. His speacialty was drag.
Shauny they had an all star challenge event before last weeks prem and Katos line (they did 4 pieces) was on POINT!! She made it to the final 2 and they picked Daniel who only had ONE hot dress IMO.
I watched the new season last wk. I dont miss that show lol
Ahhhh, so that’s what I was reading about with the all star challenge. LOVE Daniel V. but I can’t comment because I didn’t see the pieces to compare. I’m not watching the show either because they seem to have a problem with letting a black person win the show. Kara Sun and Korto BOTH should’ve won their seasons.
Shauny trust me when I say her line was better than his lol 2 of my gfriends blew my phone up as soon as she lost they were MAD as well. His line was straight and the dress the judges loved was cute but ALL of her stuff was on point!
I am still MAD at MKors for bytching about Kara Sun having the shoe hook up and not having to use her budget to buy shoes! That is why she didnt win! Then Heidi had her make all her maternity clothes
all over again lol

Daniel only had one nice piece and Kotro (what ever her name is) had 4. I was feeling her when she walked off upset because she knew too. Did you watch the Kelly Rowland show Runway something? The black dude was robbed on there too, they had a reunion show and the Issac stated they received emails that were saying its because he is black he didnt win.
Damn, so Korto walked off! I have to catch the rerun of that. Was it the same judges? They just can’t see themselves letting someone black win..boy I swear. I was heated when Korto lost. They MKors did a blog about it and went on and on about the 50s style mean bytch and the one note wonder who won but did a paragraph on Korto. People ate his azz up for that and for not giving it to Korto.
I find it funny that they said her pieces were too “ethnic”. Was that wavy chit ole girl had in all of her designs ot “european”? They didn’t have an issue with that.

Beyoncé’s I Am… extravaganza is a tour de force. It also just became a tour de fierce.
Project Runway all-star Chris March, he of the outlandish costume design and seemingly incessant narcolepsy, has filed suit against Beyoncé’s world tour costume designers (but not the star herself) for failing to make good on payments promised for properly outfitting Sasha Fierce.
Those robogloves and futuristic superhero outfits don’t pay for themselves, you know.
March, who placed fourth on both the All-Star special last week and during the fourth season of the reality hit, filed the suit on July 23, seeking upwards of $45,000 for wardrobe services rendered.
“Chris March’s lawsuit is not against Beyoncé, but rather against Thierry Mugler and Tancrede Prinz, who owe Chris money for having designed and fitted Beyoncé’s costumes,” March’s lawyer, Leslie Ben-Zvi, told E! News.
Sounds like a job for the fashion police. Or the New York State Supreme Court.
March, who filed suit on behalf of both himself and Carelli Costumes Inc., claims in court documents that he was hired as “head of costumes” for Beyoncé’s tour by Mugler back in February of this year. His job was “to create, pattern, fit and deliver finished costumes” for her tour.
For several months after, while Beyoncé was donning his very duds around the world, March sent a series of invoices to Mugler, most of which remained unpaid.
And while the Runway alum is looking to recoup the funds that are rightfully his, the designer (looking out for his clients as well as career, no doubt) says he bears no ill will toward his muse.
“Chris continues to be a big fan and admirer of Beyoncé,” Zvi said. “And Beyoncé is a big fan of Chris’ as well. She continues to look beautiful in anything she wears, especially Chris’ costumes.”

@kd yes I watched Kelly’s show and although I liked the black guy I didnt feel he should have won he did come along way since the 1st show some of his clothes were to stripperish but he made the show lol
It’s not her it’s the designer of the clotes Mandler or somebody. Beyonce cant catch a break with some of these sites always ready to report the half instead of the full..TRUTH
