Tiny Wants You To Know…

Singer and TV personality Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, of Tiny & Toya Show on BET, is very upset at malicious rumors going around that she is seeing boxer Floyd Mayweather on the low while her man, rapper T.I. is incarcerated.

Tiny’s mom, Diane Pope, reached out to Sandrarose.com to let my readers know that the stories are all false. She said, “please don’t believe those lies! Tiny loves T.I. They email each other every single day and she sees him every weekend. In fact, she’s on her way to the airport now to go visit him.”

She also said Mayweather “definitely did NOT” attend Tiny’s recent birthday celebration in Atlanta. Tiny also had a private dinner for family and friends that night, and he wasn’t there either. Tiny does not know Mayweather other than in passing.

Tiny keeps herself very busy with her daughter’s group the OMG Girls. Zonnique and Tiny are recording in T.I.’s home studio every night and her days are filled with rehearsals and other OMG-related activities. She doesn’t have time on her hands for other men. And please believe that all eyes are on Tiny. She couldn’t cheat if she wanted to!

New Music: Whitney Houston – Million Dollar Bill

Another track leaks from Whitney Houston’s upcoming studio CD I Look To You. “Million Dollar Bill” was written by Alicia Keys and produced by Swizz Beatz. Maybe that’s why I’m not feeling it.

Open Letter To Barack Obama From A Health Care Provider

On Wednesday I went to see my dentist (and noted author of children’s books), Dr. Joe Lester in Conyers, Georgia to be evaluated for dental implants. While there, I also had two teeth extracted. It was while he was pulling my teeth that Dr. Lester (who is a huge Obama supporter) learned that I was the same Sandra Rose who owns the blog that he banned everyone in his office from reading.

Dr. Lester is for ObamaCare, and of course, I’m against it. Shout out to Lester Dental Group staffers KiKi, Kenyatta and Tanika, who bring their laptops to work daily so they can still read my blog despite the fact that Dr. Lester banned my blog!

Here’s a poignant letter that Dr. Lester wrote about his son-in-law, Mike (pictured below with his wife), who was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Lester doesn’t think Obama received the letter, so I decided to post it in the hopes that someone in Washington reads this letter from a doctor who is working in the trenches with patients who don’t have insurance.

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. President,

I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. I know that you are a very busy man so I’ll make this brief. I’d like to encourage you to keep up the good fight for universal health care coverage for the average citizen of this country. I am a healthcare provider who often hears from his patients how difficult it is for them to afford healthcare. I am also part of a family who is struggling with inadequate health care coverage. Last month, I lost a dear aunt to a two-year fight against breast cancer at age 52, and now my 42-year-old son-in-law is fighting lung cancer that has metastasized to his brain. The bill for his brain surgery alone, at Emory Hospital here in Atlanta, was well over $100,000. Over the last two years, his medical bills have quickly approached a half-million dollars.

Medical Minute: Stomach Cancer

Stomach cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancers. The disease has a poor prognosis. Life expectancy for a patient diagnosed with stomach cancer is usually 6 months. That is because the early symptoms of stomach cancer are often very vague and sometimes non-existent. By the time symptoms do appear the cancer has already metastasized and spread to other organs.

One in a million people under age 55 seeking treatment for indigestion are diagnosed with stomach cancer. One in 50 of all ages experiencing excess burping and gas (indigestion) are diagnosed with stomach cancer. Don’t just assume that excess burping and gas is a result of what you ate. Especially if those symptoms continue for more than two weeks.

If you change your diet, eliminating foods that cause excess gas, and you’re still burping and passing gas, it’s time to see a doctor. Popping Rolaids and Tums for more than two weeks (and you haven’t seen a doctor) is an indication of a more serious problem.

The bacteria H. Pylori is thought to be the main risk factor in 60-85% stomach cancers and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease, or excess stomach acid entering the esophagus and causing erosion and pain). If you test positive for H. Pylori, doctors will prescribe a course of antibiotics.

The symptoms of stomach cancer are very vague or nonexistent in the early stages. Symptoms include:

Early

  • Indigestion or a burning sensation (heartburn)
  • Loss of appetite, especially for meat
  • Excess burping and/or flatulence (passing gas)

Late

  • Abdominal pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen, pain radiating to the back
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Bloating of the stomach after meals
  • Weakness and fatigue
  • Bleeding (vomiting blood or having blood in the stool), which can lead to anemia
  • Black tarry (sticky) stools

6-month-old baby kicked out of Burger King for being barefoot

Some people take their jobs way too seriously. Common sense is a virtue, and those with common sense knows that rules can be be left open to interpretation.

Jennifer Frederich, and her 6 month-old baby, Kaylin, were ordered to leave the Burger King because the baby was not wearing shoes. The idiot manager said the baby posed a health risk to the other customers because she was barefoot.

Never mind that the baby can’t walk or even crawl yet. The manager still threatened to call the police if the baby didn’t leave. Frederich, Kaylin, her mother and about 20 girls from her church group were in the restaurant when the jerk manager spied the barefoot Kaylin in her grandmother’s arms. He puffed out his chest that had his manager name tag pinned to it, and pointed to a sign outside the door that said “shoes and shirt required”. That same sign also said “service animals,” meaning seeing eye dogs, were allowed.

So, in other words, a filthy seeing eye dog poses no health risk inside the restaurant, but a 6-month-old baby does?

The Burger King Corp. has since apologized to Frederich, and the company released a statement saying they planned to “re-train” the restaurant employees. But how do you teach common sense? That idiot should lose his job just for being a moron.
