Tyra Banks’ Real Hair Reveal
The moment we all waited for finally arrived yesterday when talk show host Tyra Banks unveiled her real hair. Tyra walked out onstage during the opening minutes of her 5th season premiere show wearing her relaxed hair wet and straight back.
After explaining she’s worn wigs, weaves, and clip ons since she was 17 years old, Tyra invited 15 audience members to come onstage and do a track test to feel for tracks.
Moments after her new season premiered, the social micro-bloggin network Twitter.com lit up with tweets accusing Tyra of having relaxer in her hair. I don’t recall Tyra saying she was going natural. All she said was she would reveal her real hair, hence the title “Real Hair Day.”

It does look decent and thin, that’s why she wears the clips, weave for volumn.
i enjoyed the show and i commend her for doing it.
that mixed girl’s story who was brought up in that racist home was very touching.

& I agree she needs her ends clipped. But be careful cause you ask for a trip and they will give you a cut

Future hubby and I are always battling over whose cute and whose not. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. I can appreciate Tyra’s beautiful skin, gorgeous eyes, full lips and the self love that she exudes not to mention she looks like she is her early 20′s in the pic where she is totally raw. Future hubby would probably agree with you.
You should hear us when Tiny and Toya are on. He goes in or poor Tiny and I have to stick up for her, but I think he might leave me for Toya. I think she is the only woman I have heard him refer to as beautiful.

Tyra is so dayum self centered it drives me insane. This is almost as bad as the time she had a breast surgeon on giving her a sonogram to prove that she didn’t have implants. The bish started crying over it cause she’s so hurt that people think she wore implants. REALLY!!! REALLY!!! WE HAD SOLDIERS DYING IN IRAQ AND THIS BISCH IS CRYING OVER HER FAKE ASS TA TA’S.

I just think it’s funny how she made a point to make it clear of how long her real hair is..and that of everyone else on the show who took the challenge. As if to suggest that long hair is a prize..

Side bar- Speaking of Tiny, I was looking at a cd cover of Xscape (Off the Hook) and Tiny looked really nice. Now she just looks plastic. I wish women would love the skin they live in. Stop using surgery to enhance yourself especially when there’s nothing work. Just MY opinion.

She should have wiped some of that make-up OFF! Yuck! O, and hair is hair. That mess her stylist did at the end is going to make her $hit fall out!
I saw the show yesterday, it was pretty good. Her stylist agreed with you all that said that she needed her ends clipped, he took 3 inches off though. It was still long after he cut and styled it though. She aid that she will be wearing her real hair all week an on and off throughout the season.
