Rihanna and Melissa: Two Lovebirds In Paris
Rihanna and her lover Melissa took a stroll hand-in-hand in Paris last night causing quite a scene wherever they went! I heard that Rihanna bought the $10 million mansion in L.A. as a gift for Melissa. Wasn’t that sweet of her? I think it’s great that Rihanna is finally acknowledging her true love to the public. Melissa stayed by her side through thick and thin and now Rihanna is returning the love!
On the other hand, bitch boy Chris Brown must be really kicking himself for losing his woman to another chick. How embarrassing is that?

he still did 134,000 in his 3rd week when most people barely have that there first week and if you really wanna compare to elvis jay recording career has been about half of what elvis career was and there was no internet to download what we want illegally so people actually had to buy what they wanted so in that perspective its an even bigger accomplishment to do something like that in the digital age

i said a bunch of people have so its even more of an accomplishment to do that despite the downloading. in elvis time, the beatles, even during thriller there wasnt that problem so u can sale a ton of albums because people were conditioned to buy now we almost conditioned to get it free. and now things are more accurately reported like nobody know how many albums thriller really sold im sure it would still be the biggest album ever but there was no soundscan then to accurately say this album sold what it sold and if there was it could be bigger or smaller than what they estimate
The point still remains that he did not stay on top after the Oprah show. & with the internet and other outlets such as Oprah its easy to appeal to a broader audiance so I would think that would help not hinder.
Imagine what Elvis would’ve done with the internet on his side. & they likely didn’t have to drop as many albums in their career because the ones they had out stayed on top for so long. What sense would it had made to drop an album every year/other year when you still dropping hits off ya current LP from a year or two ago?
Oh and I forgot to add that in the day of downloading LiL Wayne still managed to sell 1million albums first week out.

lol u are funny just cant give the man his props he went on the oprah show as a guest not to promote his album other than the intro they didnt mention his album nor did he give a performance because he wasnt pushing music, while a number of people might have purchased it after seeing him it wasnt an event say like whitney that would help musically. actually elvis dropped 2 albums most years and some years even 3 so there goes your argument for that. the internet can help in your overall appeal and getting you out there but in no way helps in sales. thats why sales have gone down every year since broadband internet has become more widespread so as more people have the ability to download the less likely they are to actually purchase music. so elvis may have been a more known artist in our time but to even fathom that he would sale more is laughable when he came up in an era where u had to buy music to have it vs now where u buying music to support the artist
