I’m beginning to warm up to the natural state of Solange’s shorn hairstyle. That whole earth hippie Bohemian natural earth look is so becoming of her. I’m hoping that she’s not changing her personal style just to appease some man.
They say she’s dating that Wale rapper guy, who prefers his women to go natural. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to appease your man unless you’re doing it because you’re that weak and desperate with no mind of your own.

The Knowles Family is such an interesting family. The parents must be surely proud of their children. I sure would be. I like them alot and would love to work with them.
i was just tired of the bondage that black woman put themselves under with their hair..so i just cut it all off…we focus to much on our hair…i want to be free…i dont want to spend my life in the salon…BUT THATS NOT TO SAY 2-3 YEARS I WOULDNT WANT TO BE BACK IN BONADGE

Rather you rock a natural or a weave it doesnt matter as long as you are confident and dont let your hair define who you are…
Im wearing a lace front wig now! and maybe another month of so I might wear a sew-in weave down my azz just because I want to and wouldnt give whoot about what people thought…

@ masonmom I wanted to wait until after the baby was born. I’m itching for the scissors though, the only thing stopping me is my hubby saying how much he’s going to miss them. Hopefully he’ll have gotten used to the idea by the time the baby comes, if not on well, lol

I saw more of the pictures on another site, and I think they look pretty good. Better than the pictures should would have taken with extentions in her hair….I like them, they look very top modelish.

I Love Me Some Wale…DC Stand Up….I Like Solange Like This. And what shes saying about getting weaves again is you dont have to wear weaves to define who you are. We can go natural rock weaves laces whatever hair dont make the person. Maybe 15+ years ago people felt ashamed of their hair but I dont think its like that for the majority today. We just like to switch it up. 2 months ago i was wearing weaves and wigs, before that braids, now im natural and short, in a few more months ill have a lace back on…..but i still love everything about me.

^^^ not all people can wear that though. u look great , but i imagine myself with that style and all i can do is SMH. some of us have to stay LSLH . lol

lol, see licia thats the myth that we think. i always hid behind bangs becuz i have a big 5-head but just go for the gusto! lovejoy aint nothin to it but to do it. i did research on it and got motivated by other friends and experiences. its so motivated. i feel…i feel…so fearless! im even doin a journal on my process for a whole year wit pics n etc.

I didn’t get a perm until junior high; prior to, my mom pressed my hair—still bad but not as bad as a relaxer.
I’m all about the nautral hair and Solange looks too fab! i don’t care for the styling of the cover though.
