Yes. I did go through a period when I wished I was single because of job stress. I missed out on a lot of family time because I was attempting to build a career.

Now that I am in the process of suing my company (I am about put their racist azzes on full blast stay tuned) and have some time on my hand to get some much needed rest and healing, I am glad that my life went the way it did.

I was past being done but I guess God has other plans for me. I did go the backwards route as well. I've had 2 long term relationships since I've been dating. I'm a serial monogomist. I went baby, move in, wake up and leave him, single life, meet hubby, move in, baby, marriage....phew! I moved out on my own when I was 21. My mom would've kept me forever (she's the greatest). My mom NEVER liked my oldest kids father because of the way she saw things that I never looked at in the same way. LISTEN TO MAMA! I lived with him and his mother, that didn't work out, moved with my cousin, then got my own WITHOUT HIM (time apart can really allow yourself to clear your head and wake the hell up and kick him to the curb). I broke up with him and was single for about a year and a half before meeting my hubby. I was SO bad at dating when I was single that I had sworn off sex. I approaching a year when I met my hubby when that plan went to hell...lol That's why I try to tell my younger cousins to PLEASE use me as an example of what not to do. Some are listening and some are worse off than I was at their age. I went backwards, I'm o.k now but it could've been a lot easier for me if I'd LISTENED and made wiser choices when I was younger. WAIT and THINK. Isc - my babies are 15, 13, and 6 so talk about a gap and the shock of this one in my tummy. I was past being done but I guess God has other plans for me.
