The 6-year-old boy who was found hiding in the attic of his garage appeared on CNN this evening with his parents and older brothers. The child was the focus of an intense hunt after his brother told authorities he was inside a homemade balloon that had been set adrift.
Despite obvious clues that the balloon incident was a hoax, CNN, which trails Fox News in the ratings, still interviewed the family live on national TV. When asked if he heard his father calling his name, the boy answered, “hmm hmm,” which seemed to surprise his parents and brothers. He then told his father, “you had said that we did this for the show.”

Actually, Wolf Blitzer did hear what Falcon Heene said and he asked the father, Richard Heene, to clarify his son’s statement. Heene then lashes out at Wolf and CNN for putting him on the spot, saying, “I’m kind of appalled.”

Man I wish that it was Anderson Cooper interviewing them. Although the father isn’t that quick and was obviously lying to Wolf, Wolf was too nice and gave him a way out. Cooper would have cornered him.

Is this an edited post? Did Sandra say CNN paid for the interview initially? CNN does has low ratings in the US because Americans aren’t into news in general, however CNN is the #1 ranked news network worldwide.
