Celeb Style: Monica!
Last night R&B Diva Monica took the time out of her busy schedule to come join us in a live chat here on Sandrarose.com. Monica signed in at 8:32pm and proceeded to answer questions from my readers, some of whom stayed for hours after work for the chance to chat with her!
Monica was so kind to agree to participate in a live chat with my readers every 2nd Thursday or Friday of every month. The chats will include legendary rapper Mia X, who couldn’t make last night’s chat due to computer problems.
The ladies will pose questions to my readers in an effort to resolve the ongoing social issues we as black women have with each other. We are the only race that continuously holds each other down which limits our ability to grow to our full potential.
Last night’s question focused on the need for some chicks to manufacture wholesale lies that cause irreparable damage to another person’s life just for their own personal enjoyment. It’s sick and it’s a problem that needs to be addressed.

On the style front, I received a few emails from readers asking if I knew the brand of boots that Monica wore in a recent photo shoot.
The trendy boots are made by Tory Burch in shiny patent leather in red, placed against the nylon upper. The boot is secured in the front by gold-tone tipped laces and genuine rabbit fur trim lines the shaft with soft faux fur lining on the inside.
This hawt boot retails for around $295 if you can find it!

If the forums with Monica and Mia X (who I bumped HARD in my college and high school days) will be focused on how black women disrespect and hold each other down and tear each other apart - Sandra, are you gonna change how you talk/treat/discuss your favorite black women targets?
I mean, it won’t make any sense to discuss all of this and then we see a topic talking about this LSLH chick or that pseudo singer or whoever the bullseye is painted on that day.

lol @lady it wasnt nothing for me 2 say. knew me would be funny we had mr green class in 9th grade together but thats when she was working on her album so she wasnt at school a lot so when she sees me now and speaks i doubt she even remember thats where she know me from its like when u know somebody but u dont know exactly where u know them from that would be more appropriate but her brother knows me after i graduated from high school i went back as a sub teacher and we got cool when i used to sub and we have mutual friends so we hung out a couple times so he would know my name, monica would have to see me

Hello All. These expensive-ass boots can be purchased at footnotesonline.com for $295! (They also come in brown.) Nice boot but I paid this much for some Michael Kors leather boots with gold studs up the side and a large buckle across and they are fierce. Hell, tese boots are plastic!
Sorry I missed the Monica session last night but I couldn’t think of an instance when someone told a lie on me that affected me for yrs. Childdddddd, ain’t that much lying in the world! Stress is a mother! Peace.

I ain’t paying $300 for those boots. I would pay $45, but not $300.
Sandra made it so the white box didn’t appear for me to comment so I could see the comments but for whatever reason my box was gone to leave one, I think sandra feared I was going to come incorrect to monica and make her feel some kind of way about commenting or coming back, which if that’s the case id like to know. But I did have a few questions to ask her! So im hoping next round I won’t be banned =)

I remember seeing posters around LA on lamp posts back in the late 90’s advertising MiaX but I don’t remember ever hearing any of her music.

I’m so sorry I had to get off the computer before Miss Monica came on last night and I am grateful that she addressed my post last night.
I desperately wanted to tell her that I have been riding her hard for years and her S2S interview changed my whole view of her and even made me consider how harshly I judge others despite the fact that I consider myself a very fair person. After reading all of her posts last night I am still in awe of the woman that she has become and can say that I am proud of her. I wish her the best.

^^^ Thanks. I asked a couple of celebrities to participate. Hopefully they will agree. It’s a great idea because, unlike Twitter, the celebs respond to all your questions here. They don’t gain a large following and then ignore them and only interact with other celebs and people they think are important. That’s why Mia X came up with the idea because she loves all her fans!

@ Sandra and no disrespect to Mia x but I believe I asked you a couple months back if you would have Monica and my girl Tiny do a guest blog type of thing since the readers are interested. I don’t post that much since my promotion I actually have to work most of the day no, so maybe you don’t remember or maybe you only read comments of the readers you know.
If it helps jog your memory someone posted back we really don’t care about them we just always bring them up to get at Sandra or something like that.

I saw those boots in pink at online shoes though I am sure they are not the same brand as these the other day, I just went and looked they are not $295 but they aren’t at your $45 price point either they were like $98 but they always have 20% off
