Hip Hop troll Lil Wayne has a court date today in NYC for DNA testing to tie him to a gun found on board his tour bus. The question of what IF Lil Wayne does go to jail is popping up more frequently in conference rooms of record labels throughout the industry.
What if Lil Wayne is convicted on gun charges and sent up the river like his brethren T.I., Shyne who is being deported, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Lil Boosie, and others? Will the music industry feel his absence? Fo sure, the many groupies who line up to receive his sperm will likely feel his absence. They will have to count on another sucker rapper to knock them up and pay their bills for the next 18 years.

Whatever the case, a year and change in jail is nothing but a break in between albums. I agree with you about the glorifying and the fact that a bid is a source of pride and respect these days. This mentality not only dangerous its also dead wrong. When growing up in the hood let me tell you the easiest thing in the world is to fall into the life. It accepts you with open arms no prior experience or interview required. If he goes to jail will he be forced to pay child support for all his bastard children? If any of these dumb azz sperm receivers had a lick of sense, they’d be in court right now trying to get an official child support judgement on the books, in case he does go to jail and doesn’t come out alive or overdoses on promethazine or something.

KaraZ, No the definition ” a child born out of wedlock” hasn’t changed. Not that anyone says wedlock anymore either. But yes more people use the word to mean an unliked man. 1/3 off all children are born to single mothers. Lovechild has the same meaning and is not as offensive

As long as bastard holds the same meaning and seeing as though I doubt any love (other than the love of ejaculation) was involved in creating his growing tribe of illegitimate children, I decline using the term love child to make anyone feel better about the truth.

I agree and I said something about that term as well before. The only time I was called a bastard child to my face was by a male teacher in high school and I cussed his azz out had HE been a SHE I would have CLOCKED her azz! Judgemental azz folks act like they shyt dont stink or that they have never committed a sin or like having a child out of wedlock is a BIGGER sin than lying, judging,cheating, stealing, gossiping its ALL SIN in God’s eyes!
wiggy you say that like I haven’t called a child a bastard or illegitimate in front of their mother before. Why get mad if the word is appropriately used? Just like I don’t call liars, creative wordsmiths or thieves, borrowers without intent to pay.
It’s not judgmental, its the truth. A child born to unwed parents is a bastard, illegitimate, doesn’t have a place legally etc.. Maybe if more people used the term, more people would think twice about the situation they’re choosing to bring children into. In societies where the word bastard is used, they’re less of them running around.
So again, I hope all the mothers of this dude’s bastard children get a support order on the books before he goes into jail, now that its certain he’s going away.
