The haircut is cute! King looks like T.I. & Major looks like Tiny

  • missmiami

btw, i refust to put designs in my sons heads or a mohawk for that matter. call me old fashioned i guess cuz i refuse to buy them cell phones, let them close there room door and etc………………

  • http://charactercorner.blogspot.com attorneymom

I plead the 5th on this one.

  • Shauny

    Cuties. I love Major’s cutemess, he’s adorable.

missmiami I think lil different cuts are cute but I never dug the designs myself. My son 12 had a mohawk and was the most handsome thing. I hated when he didn’t want it anymore.

  • netta0281

THE REASON WHY TINY CUT HIS HAIR IN A MOHAWK WAS BECAUSE KING CUT HIS HAIR AND SHE HAD TO TAKE HIM TO THE BARBER AND FIX IT….BOTH OF THE KIDS ARE CUTE (TEAM T.I AND TINY)

  • BayArea

    Cute!

  • Daisy

Awww n they both look like Tiny to me but King acts like TI lol

  • kcicero

They are cute but I wouldn’t go there with the designs myself, but to each their own…

  • KaraZ

Children are such a blessing from God…

  • Divinebrown

All the kids are cutting their hair like that. I think it’s cute, too!

  • iscream

my son wants his hair cut in a mohawk… he barely wants to brush that head. Keep it low so the naps don’t show

The oldest one looks like he could be kin to Monica’s boys. & goodness gracious at first glance I thought the lil boy had wingworm in the 3rd pic.

I swear the old styles just never die. Bless they lil hearts

  • mizzdallas

I like the mohawks on the cute kids!

  • artistman999

Them little guy r alright, wish I could wear a mohawk.

  • masonmom

i definitely agree that mason is NOT rockin them bamma azz designs in his head and followin the “trend” of that corny as shyt. im groomin him to be on some ceo status early and THAT aint it. its bad enuff these young boys followin the dreadful trend of wearin skin tight jeans that might as well be leotards and tight shirts! but THIS is the future :(

  • masonmom

oh yea isc, let them naps show! throw in some carol daughter hair milk n let em flow! im on the fence wit the mohawk but ONLY if its blended in and not mr. t style. his dad aint havin it though, lol. however, a grown man shouldnt be rockin those styles, lol.

the older boy look just like tiny

  • shunda

I agree with masonmom. Weatherman (my son) will never rock anything but a low cut.

  • MUNCHOSGIRL

I AM WITH YOU ATTORNEYMOM. I’M OUT!

  • SunnyPA

LOL … y’all crack me up. I won’t judge anyone else’s parenting cuz sometimes it’s trial and error.

I will have to admit though, I stayed on my daughter tough growing up. She graduated high school and college early. Now she’s in grad school. But, I swear she’s only a step away from being a hoodrat.

I don’t say anything to her now … my job is done and she’s got to find her own way. But, I see her teetering on the wild side sometimes, then she pulls it together. Makes me wonder though … what would have happened if I hadn’t stayed on her during those formidable (sp) years.

BTW, the kids are cute. All kids are cute at that age.

  • SunnyPA

I think my daughter is “ghetto by nature” because it doesn’t take much for her to embrace that lifestyle. She has to really work at career and higher education.

  • masonmom

lol, u scarin me from havin my girl. i look at these younger girls (mind u im only 28) and understand how they can end up goin the other way. its so important to keep positive and upliftin friends in your circle to keep u motivated. me n my girls are leaders and never followers! i’ve been on my own and responsible wit my own place since i was 19. these lil girls depend on parents so much they still home drivin bmw’s and spendin checks on weaves n nail salons. so sad but they are the future :(

dont worry pa, ur right you’ve done ur job. all u can do is hope n pray she doesnt pop up preggers by a man who isnt worthy!

  • Isis Wisdom

Look at those pooters I just want to kiss their little faces off lol.

 I don’t know but this really made me laugh. She will be fine. She is just still trying to find her way. You sound like you’ve done a great job at raising her.

As someone who also lived on their own as a teen. I have to disagree with this. At 19 if you’re not away at college where else should you be but home. To me you still need guidance well into your early 20’s.

Being an adult is no joke. I always tell my son to enjoy his childhood because once its gone you can never get it back. You will be an adult for the rest of your life. :| sounds so final!

  • http://twitter.com/LaydeeJustice LadyJustice

are MAJOR and KING their real names… or their nicknames?

  • http://myspace.com/necee518 yvonne79

Major is TOO cute. You just want to kiss on his chubby little cheeks.

  • Divinebrown

Iscream….I just LMFAO@SOMETHING YOU SAID YESTERDAY!

When’s the last time you went to church and I dont mean church’s chicken. I had one of those outbursts where no air is passing thru and tears start rollin.

  • MUNCHOSGIRL

ISC, YOU MADE SOME VERY VALID POINTS. I MYSELF HAVE BEEN ON MY OWN SINCE THE AGE OF 17, IT REALLY IS NO JOKE, EHY TRYING TO DO IT BY YOURSELF. AS PARENTS WE CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH UNTIL THE CHILD HAS TO TAKE THE REIGNS THEMSELVES. YES AS SOMEONE MENTIONED EARLIER, PARENTING IS ALL ABOU TRAIL AND ERROR. WHAT WORKS FOR MASONMOM MAY NOT WORK FOR ME. NOW ALL THOSE DESIGNS AND THINGS LIKE THAT, I HAVE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF. MY ELDEST SON WAS BORN WITH A MINI AFRO, HE HAD BRAIDS UP UNTIL HE WAS IN THE 3RD GRADE, HE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE WITH HIS PEERS SAYING HE LOOKED LIKE A GIRL. SO HE DECIDED HE WANTED THEM CUTE OFF, NO PROBLEM, THEY WERE GONE.

SUNNYPA “THE DEVIL IS A LIE” ALL KIDS ARE NOT CUTE. HER ARE FEW TWEETS FROM LIL DUVAL YESTERDAY ON THE MATTER….

This baby is so ugly I tried to say a prayer & miss & said grace “god is great and god is good let us think him for our food”

U ever see a child so ugly it make u start thanking god for the kids he blessed u wit?

I think I just seen the ugliest baby alive. I tried to twitpic it but my camera couldn’t get a good focus of it’s face

    @ Divine

  • browni007

    @ iscream

you are absolutely correct – children are always going to need guidance. The guidance changes as they grow into their 20s and 30s.

Dont like mohawks, but the children are cute – whomever decides to mohawk, design or whatever, their son or daughter that is their choice – its doesnt hint anything to their parenting skills – they just like the style.

  • Krysi J

Now of course I ain feeling that mohawk….I don’t really like them on boys aka Pooch Hall, but they are both cute kids

  • http://charactercorner.blogspot.com attorneymom

Sidebar: I ain’t going to lie. My mother put me out of her home at age 29. I was attempting to build my law practice that I started in 1996 so with the student loan debt and car payments I could not afford to be out on my own at that time.

Well, my mother was pissed that I was pregnant so while I was in court representing clients, she brought my things to my husband house and that was that. I went straight from my mother’s house to my future (now current) husband’s house. We were going to wed in October 1997, but my azz got pregnant with our first child so we pushed up the wedding date to July 1997. Yes, Daisy, Attorneymom is not perfect. Sigh. I was 5 months pregnant when I married Mr. Attorneymom at age 29. Now there you have it. I think that is all the skeletons that are in my closet.

  • Shauny

WOW, as usual some of yall just make me say WOW.

   … @Attorneymom’s Mama…, Mama was not having it…

  • iscream

    @ Attrny.

And now 3 kids and X amount of years later you all are still together. Some people do the love, marriage then baby carriage and don’t make it so who cares how you got there, the point is you made it.

    But

I’m curious to know. Going from mom to man with no break in between. Do you ever feel you missed out on apart of your independence? I don’t know what I would do without my fun years now that I’m a functioning adult.

& Shauny you give me inspiration. I didn’t know both your kids were over 11. Sometimes I feel my son is getting to old for me to have another kid. He’s 8.

  • Shauny

Isc – my babies are 15, 13, and 6 so talk about a gap and the shock of this one in my tummy. I was past being done but I guess God has other plans for me.

I did go the backwards route as well. I’ve had 2 long term relationships since I’ve been dating. I’m a serial monogomist. I went baby, move in, wake up and leave him, single life, meet hubby, move in, baby, marriage….phew! I moved out on my own when I was 21. My mom would’ve kept me forever (she’s the greatest). My mom NEVER liked my oldest kids father because of the way she saw things that I never looked at in the same way. LISTEN TO MAMA!

I lived with him and his mother, that didn’t work out, moved with my cousin, then got my own WITHOUT HIM (time apart can really allow yourself to clear your head and wake the hell up and kick him to the curb). I broke up with him and was single for about a year and a half before meeting my hubby. I was SO bad at dating when I was single that I had sworn off sex. I approaching a year when I met my hubby when that plan went to hell…lol

That’s why I try to tell my younger cousins to PLEASE use me as an example of what not to do. Some are listening and some are worse off than I was at their age. I went backwards, I’m o.k now but it could’ve been a lot easier for me if I’d LISTENED and made wiser choices when I was younger. WAIT and THINK.

@Iscream writes, “I’m curious to know. Going from mom to man with no break in between. Do you ever feel you missed out on apart of your independence?”
    *****************************************

Yes. I did go through a period when I wished I was single because of job stress. I missed out on a lot of family time because I was attempting to build a career.

Now that I am in the process of suing my company (I am about put their racist azzes on full blast stay tuned) and have some time on my hand to get some much needed rest and healing, I am glad that my life went the way it did.

  • http://charactercorner.blogspot.com attorneymom

Mr. Attorneymom and I dated for 5 years and have been married for 12 years. We have three children: 11 year old girl, 10 year old boy and 8 year old boy.
