In my opinion because I am a artist as well, I can write a murder mystery and not worship the devil~~it’s just entertainment. Does that mean I sit down with candles burning in a circle praising the devil? No. Does that make me a bad person? No., I mean you really have to separate the two. Because as a writer I can write anything, from urban, to mainstream. I am a songwriter as well, I can write a song for a soul singer, or a pop singer. I don’t put myself in one boat and swim in that sea I rather take on the ocean in my career. That does not make me an evil person if I wrote a dark song or a dark movie or a murder mystery. I write out of passion and it is a gift from God that I am blessed with. So I for one understand that a person is not there job just like some of you are not yours.
I don’t know maybe it’s me, if you guys didn’t know but I am a writer with four novels out, and two more on the way. I started writing screenplays which I will get back to, when I get on, I will write movies like Tyler Perry but also different things. Things that might seems mainstream, you don’t have to put yourself in one boat. But I do believe you have to be your own self and I feel this is Rihanna she always sang this type of music…

We are all given gifts, its up to us to choose who we will use our gifts for….just as you can be blessed by GOD you can also be blessed by the devil with whatever path you choose. YOU have the choice, no one can make it for you. Either you write about things that would be pleasing to whom you believe in or you don’t….but if you don’t who are you writing for, more like whom is writing for you………we open the doors. He wants his message to be heard just as much as GOD wants us to spread his, and if you believe one can be possessed by GOD and speak in tongues please believe in all varieties of possession. You may not be a bad person, but the DEVIL is BAD, and he cares nothing about you nor how good your intentions may be….writing a book about a murderer? It depends upon the way you write it…if you write a book about someone doing the deeds of the devil and you glorify him for doing so, who are you glorifying. If you write about a murderer and tell a story of how he was never caught until he was talked into giving himself over to authorities by someone who opened his eyes to the harm he was doing…..then there is a different meaning. We know how to use our gifts….we make the choice. And the devil is always watching and waiting for us to give in to whatever bribe it takes to get us over on the other side of the gate and lost in darkness….he wants us to be confused so that when our time is up, it will be much to late to figure it out.

I’ve had periods in my life when I wanted to follow dreams, and when I started out on the path what was inicent and intentionally good, became distorted. SO I decided that if I wasn’t going to be positive about what I was doing insteaded of falling in with the trends to get notice, than I would not go thru with it. And I didn’t, there are better things I should be doing with my gift, not putting negative stuff out to make the world any worse than what it is.

Everyone has there own opinions. If u know where you stand with JESUS (yes Jesus because the way is thru him), then please dont get upset about others OPINIONS. If yoou know its not you why so upset. We all have different opinions thats wh i love this board, i learn something new everyday.
I totally agree that no sin is bigger than the other, BUT why keep sinning and addidng to your sins. It seems people use that as an excuse when they’re defending their actions. I dont judge anyone because im not perfect.
