Tocarra and Tyra Banks 1,000 Coat Giveaway
By now some of you have already heard about the woman who caused a riot at a Burlington Coat Factory store by claiming she won $1.5 million in a lottery and promised to pay store customer’s purchases up to $500.
It turned out the woman had a history of mental problems and didn’t even have enough cash to pay for the limousine that she pulled up to the store in.
Well, yesterday, The Tyra Show and America’s Top Model past contestant Tocarra Jones handed out 1,000 coats at the Covenant House in NYC. The episode will air on November 9. This good deed makes up for that foolishness on an upcoming episode when Tyra airs the first ever colonic cleansing procedure live.
There’s no need for any of you to email me the benefits of colon cleansing, because as I’ve said many times in the past, I am a registered nurse and I know that the claims of miracle health benefits via colon cleansing are bogus. So spare me.
But isn’t Tocarra stunning? She stays rewinding that 15 minute clock!

Stroller Hit By Train; Baby Survives
A 6-month-old baby in Australia survived being run over by a train because he was strapped securely into his baby stroller.
The baby’s mother was temporarily distracted by an oncoming train as she waited on an elevated train platform. Her baby son’s stroller rolled off the platform and onto the tracks just as the train ran over it. Grainy video shows the mother desperately reaching for her baby and nearly being hit by the train herself. She then screams hysterically as onlookers walk away in shock.
Interracial Couple Denied Marriage License
I saw this headline on the news wires yesterday and I assumed it was a mistake. I didn’t even read the story because this is 2009, not 1909!
Unbelievably, a justice of the peace in a hick town in Louisiana denied an interracial couple a marriage license, in part, to protect the couple’s unborn children!!
Mr. Terence McKay and Miss Beth Humphrey both residents of Tangipahoa Parish were crushed and highly disappointed that based upon the color of their skin, that an official of Louisiana would deny their union in Holy matrimony. The couple was told by Mr. Bardell that 99 percent of interracial marriages ended up in divorce and that the decision not to marry them would be in their best interest and the best interest of any future children that would be born from their union. The NAACP in that area is asking Keith Bardwell to step down from his position. Bardwell countered by saying, in his experience, interracial marriages don’t last. Then he threw out that a typical racist excuse, such as “I have black friends” — you know, the line that all rednecks keep handy for just this sort of occasion:
“I’m not a racist. I do ceremonies for black couples right here in my house,” Bardwell said. “My main concern is for the children.”
He is so gone.
OBAMA FAIL: Little boy asks Obama pre-arranged question: ‘Why don’t people like you?’
In this video clip, a little boy asks Barack Obama, “why don’t people like you?” Anyone who attended Obama’s town hall meetings in the past knows that the questions are either pre-arranged or previewed beforehand to make sure that there are no surprises.
The Obama camp gets a fail for this one.

Kimora Lee, Russell Simmons’ baby mama, cradled her son Kenzo while filming scenes from her low rated reality series Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane yesterday in LA. Why did I think that show was canceled last year? Anyway, Kenzo’s daddy is actor Djimon Hounsou. Kenzo is a cutie with his mini-mohawk.
Is the Obama’s Marriage in Trouble?

Last night I received more than my usual hate mail from readers regarding my ongoing coverage of Barack Obama. It’s amazing to me that people come to my blog knowing what I’m going to write and then complain anyway.

Anyway, It seems that some of the Kool Aid drinkers are really upset that I continue to point out Michelle Obama’s growing disillusionment with her husband.
That’s because the strain on their marriage is very obvious. I am not always right, but I called this one early on.
The only way two full-blown narcissists can occupy the same space for a prolonged period of time is if they are both working toward the same common goal. Now that their goal (the presidency) has been achieved, there’s nothing left to do but to return the focus on themselves, which is what narcissists do well.
In this video, the chasm between the Obama’s can clearly be seen. Michelle is fed up with him as you can see from her body language. She knew she was on live television, and she could have played it off until they got home, but she obviously didn’t care. The thrill is gone from their marriage.
Balloon Boy Pukes On Today Show
In what will probably turn out to be one of the biggest hoaxes played out on national TV, the 6-year-old boy believed to hve taken off inside a homemade balloon spilled the beans on CNN last night and confirmed everyone’s suspicions that the whole thing was a hoax.
I knew when little Falcon Heene busted his parents on CNN that something was going to happen to him in that home last night.
It’s obvious that the parents are psychos who will do anything for television exposure. So it’s not a stretch of the imagination to assume that they would threaten the child, or at least slip him something to keep him quiet for the next round of television interviews.
Children don’t just hurl their breakfast for no reason. The father looks mentally disturbed and extremely agitated in this video. Why isn’t the child protective services stepping in to remove those children from that home?
