Chinese and other countries are not wasteful like Americans. We live way above our means to impress I don't know who. In Asian countries they are being raised that it is shame to owe money. Also they don't have nearly as many credit cards, 90% in china use only debit cards. Unlike us we all owe credit cards. Look at our country we are a society build on debt and wasteful spending, that explains that we owe China all this money. How are we suppose to be this great nation but owe everybody????? They did a report not long ago, in regards to the recession and they stated that Asian Americans were doing a lot of buying during the recession because of the all the bargains in the housing, car and retail market because they don't hardly owe.
