We did hear that he wanted out because he was going to another tour of duty. Wasn’t this going to be his 3 or 4th tour around Thanksgiving?
Sandy not to crack on a strip club, but do strippers make men Krazy? Sandra I do think that he cracked under pressure of being in the “our” service. Today’s service is not our dad’s service or our uncles service depending on how old you are. Now is Veterans Day and put your flags at half staff and don’t wait on the mail. But remember a Soilder,I know I remember them each day. Let us have a silent prayer for all who try and do protect us. 1, 2, 3 ,4 , 5. In GOD I Trust.

Are we reading the same quote? Because I’m reading 3-4 different (slanted) interpretations in the comments. He was a terrorist, just like the DC sniper, just like “fundamentalist” Christians who shoot abortion doctors. He snapped under the pressures of life just like the others. Do we need to bring back the president who used simple words?

Some may not ask to get out but instead show poor judgement, lack of attentiveness or lack disapline to reamin in any military and I guess when you are the one assessing others your own mental health goes unnoticed. I am sure this man signed many times to be in the Army because he is 39. A few of my step brothers retired from the army after serving a couple of decades. They were blessed to do what the military promised long ago. “It’s Not Just A Job It’s An Adventure”. They got money for school and a great education out of their time in the service along with life long skills. Now we have young men and women coming home from war with head injuries and missing limbs. If they don’t come home in a casket.
