Obama’s Approval Ratings Drop
Barack Obama’s approval ratings continue to slide as Americans worry more about the economy, unemployment and the Afghan/Iraq wars.
A new AP-GfK poll shows that Americans are more pessimistic about the direction of the country than they were just a month ago, with President Obama’s approval ratings dropping.
Forty-six percent said they approve of the way Obama is handling the economy, the number one issue on people’s minds according to the poll, down from 50 percent who approved in the previous poll.
On Iraq, 45 percent now say they disapprove of his handling of that war while 48 percent say they disapprove of the way he’s handling Afghanistan – both increases from a month ago. And 54 percent now say they oppose sending more troops to Afghanistan, compared to 50 percent who said that in October.
Meanwhile, a Chinese artist unveiled his new artwork (pictured above) titled “Burning Man Obama” today in Beijing. Liu Bolin said the sculpture represents the Nobel peace prize winner’s impact on the world.

Wow how disrespectful, no I don’t agree with everything the President is saying or doing, but this is ridiculous, as a human being I don’t think he deserve to be treated this way.

Okay, why did he have to be charcoal, and why does it look like he has devil horns burning on his head. This is very disrespecful. The Chinese artist would be offend if someone made a statue out him with fried rice and chop cat.

BTW Why weren’t there any “Burning Bush” statues made? You know why? Though we didn’t agree with his politics, most respected him as the leader of the free nation. You don’t have to like him SR, but you should be more respectful.

Make no mistake, I’m not an obama fan. But, it’s clear a few commenters didn’t understand the statue. I was just explaining the concept of it.
