Legendary soul singer Diana Ross looks happy and content after undergoing a face lift recently. She was spotted out & about yesterday with surgical tape adhered to her temples. I call plastic surgery the rich women’s disease because only rich women have trouble aging gracefully or accepting their physical imperfections. My mom is 78 and her wrinkles look beautiful to me. I can’t imagine my mom getting a face lift.

40-year-old rapper Jay Z performed his entire catalog during a concert at Alexandra Palace in my hometown of London, England yesterday. They say only 8,000 fans showed up. It seems even Great Britain is feeling the effects of the recession. Or maybe nobody cares about Jay Z anymore?

Newcomer actress Gabourey Sidibe who plays the title role in the movie ‘Precious’ arrived at MTV studios in Times Square, New York City today for an appearance on “Its On With Alexa Chung”. It looks like Gabby has packed on a few extra pounds. Instant fame tends to do that to women.

I thought tennis superstar Serena Williams was a well-put together drag queen when I first saw this picture. She must be really hard on her shoes. I bet she goes through a good pair of heels every three weeks.

Kara I think you’re just being a little mean. I know from your posts you are intelligent but please don’t exclude carbs from your diet. Your body needs them for energy. Those diets are a stinking pile of doodoo. Eat 3 WELL balanced meals a day on a salad plate cut out processed sugar, fats and refined foods as much as possible and exercise. Even if you lose weight it will come right back as soon as you start eating them again.

@wiggy… I eat well & run at least 3 miles daily, I’ve just cut out most carbs (rice, yams, yucca, potatoes) for a short time, so by thanksgiving my taste for them will have disappeared & even if I gain the usual 5lbs holiday weight, I can still fit in my custom made clothes my traditional engagement, too many corset styles, no room for error.

Me, I’ll never go under the knife unless it’s absolutely necessary and plastic surgery ain’t but to each it’s on. I ain’t hating on nobody! As for Serena, a little draggish maybe but she’s still an attractive, talented and rich lady so she probably gives a hoot about our opinions. Peace.

I do think it matters because you have to use the same email address you used to register with Sandra. I had a hard time the first time. I’m still a newbie here so maybe some of the veterans here will know more.
The half jacket thing looks good if you have the body for it. I realize Gabby might not have the money yet, but her stylist could have came better than that, especially with the shoes!!! I think bigger women have to be on point with dressing just on the strength that people are going to try and find something to criticize them about.
