I’ll Never Eat Fried Fish Again
This turned my stomach. Apparently, the Chinese have come up with a process to fry fish while keeping it alive. They then serve up the fish piping hot — and gasping for it’s last breath — on a plate where diners pick at it and laugh as they watch the fish flail for air.
This is sick! It’s bad enough that we kill animals and consume them, but this is just wrong. Hopefully, Benihana’s doesn’t add this to their menu.

Wow. That is cruelty to animals.
Don’t they boil lobsters alive(most of the time)and I don’t mind my fish having the head on it I don’t eat it (that’s just me though)……

Yes we do but we “get her done” and not half cook her and put her on our plate half alive.

I want to know how they keep the fish alive long enough to cook it out of water? & wouldn’t the heat automatically kill it.

That’s what I thought to ………….how can you fry a fish and make it stay alive…..But apparently the Chinese figured it out…..I presume they gave it a quick fry and just served it….. But what they did in the vid. was cruel(just watched it) they were taunting the poor fish before they decided to eat it…..

well i guess THAT answers the question of how or is it even possible to cook the fish & it still be alive…..its gross & kinda amazing all at the same time. Even the snakes were still moving!
