Janet Jackson Says She’s Not Back Together With JD
We don’t know if she’s being coy with the media because she has a career to get back on track or an album to promote. But Janet Jackson sure is keeping folks guessing about the relationship between her and longtime — now ex-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri.
Janet told Atlanta radio station’s The Bert Show that she and JD are no longer together. She referred to him as her “ex” just as she did in that interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Yet we’ve seen them photographed together since then. So what gives?
“I’m not the type of girl that stays in touch with your ex like that,” Jackson said.
Dupri, however, seems to be an exception. “Jermaine is one of my best friends,” she said in a sleepy voice. “I love him to death. We’re still connected. We’re still good friends. We still talk.”
“We’re there for one another,” Jackson said of Dupri. “I think it will remain that way for the rest of my life.”
That bites for JD. The worst thing a female can say to a man is “we’re good friends.” What she really means to say is “you’re one of my girlfriends now.” And women don’t sleep with their girlfriends.
OK… so that means Janet is single?
Speaking of which, did we ever figure out who Janet was seen making out with on a yacht earlier this year? We know it’s not JD because, for one, JD is knee high to a grasshopper, and this guy towers over Janet. and for two, JD doesn’t have hair and this guy does.
