Missing NC Girl’s Body Found

Fayetteville police said Monday they have found the body of missing 5-year-old Shaniya Davis.
She was last seen on the day she went missing being carried in the arms of a pedophile who was later arrested and charged with kidnapping Shaniya.
Shaniya’s mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, 25, was taken into custody on Friday (Nov. 12) and charged with human trafficking, child abuse involving prostitution and filing a false police report.
The child’s remains were located in an area bordered by Highway 87 south and Walker Road – just south of Sanford – during a second day of searching.
Davis was last seen alive at a Comfort Suites hotel in Sanford last week – the same morning her mother reported her missing from her Fayetteville home. Police say a surveillance video from the hotel showed the child with 29-year-old Mario McNeill.
The area where police found the body is about 7 miles from the hotel.

I’m from NC and this has been all over the news. This “mother” should burn in hell for subjecting her child to this. I don’t understand why God blesses unfit people with children and people who deserve children can’t have them.

Seeing the images of that no good dog carrying Shaniya into the hotel (to do God knows what) made me sick! She was a baby… and had no idea what was ahead of her.

The evils of drugs. It’s a shame that this woman did this but believe she isn’t the first and definitley won’t be the last. I constantly debate this with my fiance. Thanks I was wondering how this took place. I know the dad is beating himself up. I find it odd that he trusted her enough to have unsupervised visits. I am kind of selfish and If I had something to my self for so long I would not have been ready to share.

I felt the same way I was eating lunch with my boyfriend and I got a text message alert from breaking news message from CNN. I just broke down crying, stuff like this bothers me so bad.
I am in tears and I just can’t believe it. The little girl didn’t even fight as she was being carried away by the pedophile. She didn’t even know of her impending fate. This is beyond sad.

I took a break from the news & when I watch last night I saw there was a young lady killed in Berkeley, Ca…..they were lookin’ for her missing toddler….they believe the body washed up in a body of water not too far from where she was killed. THE SUSPECT DID TIME AWILE BACK FOR BEATING A 3YR OLD TO DEATH!

There were too many signs that you mentionded. Shaniya was not a baby so her not wearing shoes is alarming, being carried(a clue). The person who gave them a room is a idiot not to pick up on little details.

I am truly hurt by this. The Devil is truly alive and walking amongst us. There are people in my office that are desperately trying to have kids or adopt. They would have truly loved to have this precious little girl. I am still questioning the father’s motive on his decision to give her back to the mother. My bother has custody of my niece and he would never, ever let the mother take this child for just 5 mins and she is 13. Her mom is a addict/recovering addict and lost custody after having my neice in a filthy hotel for 4 days alone. For 2 years my brother(he was stationed in Korea and married to the heffa at the time) searched for her and finally he found her and had never looked back. That was 5 yrs ago.

Regarding Shaniya’s father, he probably felt guilty about keeping mother from daughter for so long and since the mom was getting her life together, probably felt it was a good thing…drug addicts can be very convinving people. He also could have thought that if there was any reason a person would want to get clean, it’s for their children. The last thought in his head was that she was going to subject her daughter to rape.
Kinda off topic – anyone catch Precious this weekend? Why were women next to me and behind me crying? And one woman said the movie was too raw she didn’t know if she could stay and watch the whole thing? Lee Daniels did a great job.

I believe the majority of black people are in favor of the death penalty and this crime clearly deserves the DEATH PENALTY. Why are almost all of the elected black politicians against the death penalty?

Parents who barter their child are sick, but nuthin’ is new under the sun. Anyone read that book, “The Darkest Child”? That mom did this type of ish too….As a child I realized some ppl should get a psych eval before being allowed to procreate. My upbringing wasn’t the best. I was violated by a family member (no sex, just A LOT on INAPPROPRIATE behavior from a grown ass man towards a child). I grew up in a two parent home, my parents are still together, and in a textbook way of thinking, I should have been the least likely victim; but life is about learning. My mom trusted a male family member (and in theory you should be able to), but MY REALITY is ABSOLUTELY NOT.

I had been keeping up with this on Nancy Grace and PRAYING that it wouldn’t end up the way a lot of the recent missing child cases have. I hope he didn’t do what I think he did in that hotel and that she didn’t suffer too long. I say throw his behind in a MAX security prison filled with other sexual predators and pedophiles. The death penalty is too easy.

Some of these creatures that walk amongst are NOT human beings. A parent must ALWAYS watch over their child, even when ppl call you paranoid. Or even when others play on your sympathy, like that mother.
When these creatures get to prison, other prisoners typically take care of them. I can only imagine the pure terror this child felt before she was murdered.

Folks we are living in revelations God will calling all us home soon and I’m so not trying to be morbid I have been working on my spirituality for years now and with GOD, faith, prayer and blessings I will be one of those who can reside in Heaven, not hell or purgatory…TRUST ME everything happens for a reason and I this story really hits home hard for me I was molested at the age of 5 so this has taken me way back-but with wisdom and glory those memories will not haunt me..
When I saw Antoinette’s face she made me wanna stab in the head with a rake and I promise I try to keep negative thoughts out of my head…what I hate most is that Antoinette and Shaniya’s murderer favor one another…I really hope Antoinette is killed before she can make it to trial-I pray she won’t ever see the pearly gates!

How could one be so curl to a child that only has you for support? It hurts me to my soul for that child to live and died not knowing what true love is. I try so hard not to read sad or just down right curl stories in the news. It seems like more and more stories of children dying are popping up. It kills me to know that selfish NON-HUMAN is living and breathing behind bars! I soooo don’t believe in the death penalty but it’s times like this that make you want to cold heartedly say shoot her where she stands. I know the adorable angle is in a much better place. Hopefully she can rest in peace and know that her death has opened hearts and opened closed eyes. We have to protect those that can’t protect themselves. I’m just speechless and broken behind this senseless crime.

Just got home from school and read this….first was sad, then grateful for my childrens safety, now I’m just P’D off
Sad to say, this type of thing goes on way too much but it just doesn’t get media coverage. I was in law enforcement for a while and the horrors that are out there in this world are enough to make you want to keep your kids at home at all times.

Combine this way of thinking with other traits of sexual predators and we end up with cases like this one. I think most of us are even more upset with this case for the amount of involvement of the mother.

I absolutely agree with you. We live in a culture of “boys will be boys” and absolve them of any responsibility when it comes to sex. We call women all kinds of names, yet give boys/men a pass because somehow they cannot refrain from controlling where they stick their penises.
Regarding the mother – YES! A mother is supposed to be the protector, comforter, and lover of the child she brings into this world (fathers too), but a mother who carries a child 9 months, goes through agony to bring this live into the world, and then harms or allows someone to harm their child is unforgivable! Yes, this hits too close to home.
@ Baby84, yes ppl need to start stepping up when things don’t look right. We have a right to tell our drs to wash their hands before they touch us(my dr is not that trifflin’) We need to quit being afraid of hurting someones feeling and make it our business to investigate. When we see mothers hitting their kids in public we say nothing but when the kid is killed in his home and we are the neighbor we say I had no ideal what was going on. A person does not wake up one day and decide to kill their kids, this is something that was going on for sometime and it’s ok for us to call CSB. I would rather have a false report if the kid was not being abused than a dead kid.
I read about this story this morning, and my stomach is still sick behind this..I cannot even believe someone would do this to thier own child.

And this is not only a problem for the women….how many times have we all heard a guy talking about the “crazy baby momma” or the ex that is a “psycho”. I always translate that into really meaning, when she was crazy and psycho in the bed it was all good but once they no longer were interested in said girl or woman (there is definitely difference) nooowww she is crazy in a bad way, not in a good crazy in the bed way.
Not to throw stones in a tragic situation, but the man in this case above most likely fell in this group of guys who is ok with a crazy woman as long as it benefits them in the sack.

@Anna I feel you. People need to step up and report suspicious situations. You can’t trust no one these days with your children. You have to keep your tabs on them 24/7. I recommend everyone to know who your child is with and keep tabs on them frequently when they’re away. I’ll pop up on somebody in a heartbeat if they had my child..lol!
