Rap mogul Jay Z is said to be angry over recently released pictures of his wife Beyonce sneaking out of a Berlin hotel with her bodyguard Julius. The pictures appeared to show Beyonce’s lipstick smeared all over Julius’ lips. Jay is said to be so upset that he canceled shows in his BP3 tour. But those reports were disputed today after Jay Z added more shows to the tour. No word on if Julius has been terminated from his position for fraternizing with his client.
Celebrity entrepreneur Sean Combs shared pics of his 3-year-old daughter Chance on his Twitter page yesterday. She sure is a little cutie. This past weekend, Chance’s mom Sarah Chapman tried to get Chance on the closed list to take Christmas pictures with the famous Philips Plaza Santa Claus. But tickets have been sold out for the Philips Plaza Santa for two months now. I’m sure there are affluent women richer than Sarah who have tried to get their well-heeled kids on that prestigious list, but the trick is to get your kid on the Philips Santa photo list in July or August. Don’t wait until November.
Sultry singer Shakira has started the process of locking her hair in the tradition of West Indian Rastafarians. Shakira wore her new ‘do to a Rolling Stones party last night and people are still talking about her transformation.
Sammy Sosa Admits His Creamy Complexion Came From a Jar
Baseball great Sammy Sosa has finally come clean about his lighter complexion after rampant rumors of skin bleaching hit the Internets last week.
Sosa says his new, brighter complexion was caused by a “cosmetic cream” that he’s been using for “a long time.” He didn’t say how long. But he did say the skin cream that he used to “soften his skin,” combined with harsh camera lighting contributed to making his skin appear much lighter than it normally is.
We would be inclined to believe him if it weren’t for the fact that his skin tone if at least 10 shades lighter than it used to be. Sosa stopped just short of calling the skin cream a bleaching agent. so we’ll do it for him:
Sosa used a bleaching agent AND he’s wearing colored contacts to lighten his eyes.
Self-hating Sosa gets props for at least admitting to using something on his face and not falling back on a sorry excuse such as he had some sort of skin disease like Michael Jackson claimed before taking his secret to the grave with him.
Obama’s Approval Ratings Drop
Barack Obama’s approval ratings continue to slide as Americans worry more about the economy, unemployment and the Afghan/Iraq wars.
A new AP-GfK poll shows that Americans are more pessimistic about the direction of the country than they were just a month ago, with President Obama’s approval ratings dropping.
Forty-six percent said they approve of the way Obama is handling the economy, the number one issue on people’s minds according to the poll, down from 50 percent who approved in the previous poll.
On Iraq, 45 percent now say they disapprove of his handling of that war while 48 percent say they disapprove of the way he’s handling Afghanistan – both increases from a month ago. And 54 percent now say they oppose sending more troops to Afghanistan, compared to 50 percent who said that in October.
Meanwhile, a Chinese artist unveiled his new artwork (pictured above) titled “Burning Man Obama” today in Beijing. Liu Bolin said the sculpture represents the Nobel peace prize winner’s impact on the world.

Last night, former music mogul Jermaine Dupri launched his new line of affordable watches at WISH in Atlanta and celebrity photographer Prince WIlliams of ATLPics.net was there to capture all the excitement.
Other celebs in the house included R&B Diva Monica, rapper Big Boi, former America’s Top Model finalist Eva tha Diva and her fiance actor Lance Gross, socialite Teyana Taylor (I don’t know what else to call her), and socialite Sarah Chapman (pictured below).
The line of affordable watches called Nu Pop Movement range in price from $95 to $145. I’m told the watches sales were brisk last night as everyone purchased one for themselves or as gifts.
Monica, Lance and Eva attended the event in support of JD. I was invited to this launch personally by PR diva Patti Webster of W & W Public Relations. But I couldn’t find a thing to wear.

FanMAIL: Gabby and Paula Patton
One of my loyal readers, Cee Breezy, felt the need to set me straight on who Paula Patton, wife of singer Robin Thicke was.
In an earlier post, I erroneously described Paula as a “LSLH stick” standing next to actress Gabourey Sidibe.
I regret my error.
But would I be wrong if I said I wouldn’t know who Paula Patton was unless she was standing next to her husband?
Has she accomplished anything other than being married to Robin that would require me to automatically recognize her upon sight?

I doubt you know who she is or you might refer to her differently, but from the comments I’ve seen you write on your blog I’m not sure you’d be any less disrespectful. Anyway, I doubt she is one of those LSLH chicks you say who thinks she is “all that” and needs a stylist. I mean I don’t know why you would say that about her in the first place. Just because she is thin and beautiful you assume she automatically thinks she is all that? And why does she need a stylist? I mean what exactly are you implying? From what I heard she is extremely intelligent and a good person. Not sure why you’d paint her in a negative light. As a black woman you should try to do better.
Hasan’s Business Card: ‘Soldier of Allah’
The conservative bloggers are doing a better job of digging up dirt on Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan’s background than the military did. All the signs pointed to Hasan being a radical Islamic extremist with ties to terrorists, but the CIA dropped the ball just as they did with 9/11.
We know about Hasan’s disdain for America and his hatred for his fellow troops members. We know that he wanted out of the military because he had conflicts about killing his fellow Muslims. We know that he maintained a blog that he used as an outlet for his anti-American ramblings.
But the military knew all of this too! They knew that Hasan was a jihadist as early as two years ago and still they did nothing.
Pamela over at Atlas Shrugs dug up Hasan’s business card that he carried around with him.
Just under his name is the acronym SoA followed by SWT. According to Pamela, the acronym stands for “Soldier of Allah” and “SWT” is an abbreviation that usually follows the word Allah.
The president of the United States Barack Obama wants us to believe that Hasan “cracked under the pressure” of being in our military. That he was so stressed out from his six-figure salary and his cushy corner office that he grabbed a semi-automatic and a handgun and mowed down military personnel.
Obama wants us to believe this even though Hasan did not see a tour of duty in a war zone. From Day 1 Obama has sympathized with terrorists. Why should we expect him to change now?
It’s a good thing that we live in a country where freedom of thought is encouraged and defined in the Constitution. Or we might be inclined to believe everything Obama says as we sip our warm Kool Aid.
The truth is — just like the 9/11 terrorists, in the hours before the attack, Hasan gave away his most prized possessions, attended a strip club, and shaved all of his body hair. Yet the terrorist sympathizer-in-chief, Barack Obama, tells us not to jump to conclusions!
How many more embedded terrorists are there hiding in the military with the same calling card as Hasan? We will soon find out.
