Celeb Style: There’s nothing wrong with Gabby’s style

This morning I received an email from a loyal reader who declared ‘Precious’ star Gabourey Sidibe was badly in need of a stylist. I disagree. I see nothing wrong with Gabby’s style. She’s a big gurl who represents BBW everywhere very well. Only scarecrows like that LSLH stick standing next to Gabby need a stylist because LSLH chicks automatically think they are all that and they’re not!

When is the last time YOU needed a stylist? Exactly. Chicks who automatically think they are superior to others need stylists because they want to outdo the next chick. But every day, round the way chicks like Gabby don’t have those compulsions.

Drunk Woman Falls On Tracks in Front of Train

A Boston woman who had a little too much to drink, teetered too close to the platform edge at a Boston train station and keeled over onto the tracks. Alert passersby signaled the train to stop as the woman lay sprawled on the tracks on her back.

She seemed to give up the fight for her life after struggling to regain her balance. Watch the video to see what happens next.

Beyonce Caught Stealing Again!

Beyonce is in the hot seat again after yet another songwriter claims she stole a copyrighted song from him.

Does Beyonce have some type of personality disorder that allows her to jack the works of others while feeling no shame?

According to the Chicago Sun Times, Chicago songwriter and performer Rickey Allen claims Beyonce stole “Cater 2 U” from him. Allen copyrighted his song 3 times, as recently as 2000.

A comparison of the lyrics in the two songs are very similar. But the dead giveaway is the fact that Bey’s camp claims she wrote “Cater 2 U”. Well, we already know that’s a lie because Beyonce is too stupid to write anything coherent! And, plus, similar claims have been proven false in the past. When is she going to learn?

When Allen’s song says: “I want to rub you down,” Destiny’s Child asks: “Want a foot rub?”

Allen’s lyrics say: “The tub has hot steam rising,” and “I’m waiting to soak your body through.”

The Destiny’s Child song offers to: “Let me run your bath water.”

Allen’s claim is so convincing that a Chicago judge has given him the green light to go ahead and take Bey to the cleaners! Beyonce is expected to testify in court and I plan to be in attendance. I can’t pass up the chance of seeing Beyonce humiliated in open court!

Wanda and Sheneneh Jenkins team up to make a movie?

Comedians Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx are teaming up to bring their female characters to the big screen! This should be hilarious! I laughed out loud at the mock trailer for “SKank Robbers” that the duo made to air during the BET Awards.

Screen Gems has acquired “Sheneneh and Wanda,” a comic vehicle for Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence to star in a comic caper film, playing female characters they developed during their stand up comedy days.

Foxx will write the script and he and Martin will produce together through Foxx’s Foxxhole and Lawrence’s Runtelldat production banners.

The project originated as a parody of a movie trailer for a film called “Skank Robbers,” which Foxx and Lawrence made for the BET Awards. The reaction was strong enough that the duo decided to turn the concept into a real film.

In the comedy, Sheneneh and Wanda are modern day independent women trying to make it on their own, one bank robbery at a time.

Rihanna at the 2009 Glamour Magazine Women of The Year Honors

AMBER WHO?

Singer Rihanna attended the Glamour Magazine 2009 Women of The Year Honors at Carnegie Hall in NYC yesterday. She walked away with Top honors last night as she should! No one else is killing the game like Rihanna right now!

Yes, she’s had a few fashion missteps this year, but Rihanna more than made up for those last night! RiRi was emotional and tears streamed down her face when she took to the stage after watching a tribute video.

She wore a shimmery, floor length ivory satin Stephane Rolland gown with a small hip pocket. She admitted the gown was too tight, but she looked gorgeous in it!

Speaking of her controversial US television appearance last week, Rihanna said she felt “relieved” after talking about her abuse at the hands of convicted woman beater Chris Brown.

“It was like a weight lifted off my chest and now I don’t have to talk about it anymore,” said Rihanna. “I can talk about my music, things that I love.”

She later changed into a sexy, floor length, pink chiffon evening gown that showcased her long legs, and Christian Louboutin pumps to wear to the after-party.

Tionna Smalls fires back @ Sandra Rose…”I’m from Brooklyn, I will find you”

Remember that chick Tionna Smalls who sent the blogs a long, rambling email claiming T-Boz dissed Ciara at a concert last week?

Do you recall that I was the only blogger who didn’t post that foolishness? I didn’t even mention the chick’s name on this blog.

So why is she coming for me in a new video posted on Kingsmen Media blog this morning? What did I do? And most importantly, should I be shook — because I’m not.

Tionna claims that I called her fat or some ish. I wrote nothing of the sort. How can I call her fat when I didn’t even know she existed until today? She’s not even fat, she’s thick and juicy just the way the brothers like her. But that’s neither here nor there.

I have the flyest bodyguard in the business who will handle Tionna Smalls if she shows up in my neighborhood. SO be on the lookout for THAT video!

Health Care Bill Dead On Arrival in Senate

The euphoria that swept through the House Saturday night when Pelosi’s version of the health care bill narrowly passed a vote didn’t last very long.

It’s up to the Senate now to come up with a bill to merge with the House version so Barack Obama can sign it. The Democrats control the exact number of votes needed to pass the Senate bill (60). But according to several key Democrats (who are opposed to government-run health care), the bill is already dead on the Senate floor.

“They know they don’t have 60 votes,” said former Senator John Breaux, who now heads a lobbying firm that represents the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, the drug industry’s Washington trade group. “They have to go back to the drawing board” on the plan to set up a government-run insurer, he said. (Source)

The notion of government-run health care should cause Americans to break out in a nervous sweat. Anyone who has ever dealt with the bureaucracy and red tape involved in getting even the most basic services approved for one patient knows what I mean.

Now multiply that red tape times 300 million Americans.

Where is the goernment going to get the money to pay for universal healthcare? That question has never been answered truthfully.

Even though the bill won’t pass this year, there’s always next year. Which means we have to keep up the fight to prevent universal health care from destroying our economy and our livelihoods.

Universal healthcare is not about providing free healthcare to 300 million people — because that’s impossible. It has always been about feeding Obama’s enormously oversized ego.
