Why do people who have something negavtive to say about Beyonce have to hate her? I’ve never seen anyone here say they hate her.
Now they can’t stand that she’s robotic, dresses horribly, dances like a stripper, has bad weaves, bad make up, can’t complete a sentence, steals dance moves and songs. Did I leave anything out for those of you who clown Bey?

tori,tell me about it. I just recently got married. I’m 32, just recently HAPPILY married(fresh), and zero kids. I refused to become a statistic for here. Credit it still in the works but it’s not bad. haha. I can’t wait to leave.

Bey is a good performer but her songs have no meaning. She has a good voice as well. I want something I can relate to but that time has passed. I’m not a Mary fan either. She screams to much for me.

As far as Beyonce goes, its hit or miss with me. I admire her drive and ambition, but I see her “image” at this point of being in danger of having reached the climax in terms of the evolution of her appearance, stage presence, and message (when there is one)in her music. I mean, if she takes off anymore clothes she would be violating public decency laws in most states and countries.
Maybe she will start to be more conservative as far as her image goes and might try to put out songs with more of a purpose or message in them.

If you want good music that will last then listen to artist like Sia, Zero 7, Adele, Duffy, Thievery Corp. The mainstream artist are watered down, I like music that sounds like worship music (soul)…

I feel you about Akeys, she is kind of boring. I like her music but shes not the whole package. I hate when Usher gets overexposed, He too is rather boring. I want him to get “it” back because to me he has not topped “Confessions”.

That’s the truth. He got too big for his brithes and when he married Tameka he lost cool points to many. I like Tameka but it pissed me off that every chance he was on tv he was defending his marriage. If you have to keep doing that you are fooling yourself into thinking you’re marriage is not in trouble.

girl so did I. I have a DVD of her live concert where she is singing that song. Yes I am a Mary fanatic. I have at least two VHS tapes with hours of nothing but mary video’s, interviews and live performances. I use to collect every magazine she was featured in. I was bad but now that I’m older I don’t stan as much but I still enjoy her music and her love for her fans.
Did anyone here get the DVD that came with the Love & Life CD. I swear I was just watching it the other day when Liza Minelli & her husban went to Mary’s house for Thanksgiving.

I’m planning on going to the NO next year (can’t do a big trip this year so we’ll do a long weekend and this is my pick). They seems to have good shows everyday so maybe I’ll see some of yall there.
I hated that album but a few songs Here I stand isn’t a bad song but it isn’t my fav and everything else was blah. I don’t think it compared to his other albums which i liked from start to finish.

Shauny no you took me still LIKING AKEYS as an ARTIST as me co signing what she is accused of doing. I always said she was WRONG if that is how it went down but I still was going to STAN for her cause i LOVE her music. I was not hard on RiRi that again is how you took my comments when I said over and over I never blamed her. Just because I didnt believe everything she said (Akeys has yet to speak but I also said if I didnt believe her I would say so as well) you felt I was hard on her when I also said I did NOT believe everything CB said. So again I would never try to tell anybody who they did or didnt like or who they did or didnt STAN for because IMO I am a Rihanna stan I love her MUSIC, FASHION and SWAGGER. I want her and AKeys to both be responsible for their actions(equally as dangerous) in both of their situations but attheendoftheday their personal life will not stop me for stanning for either of them. I can STAN for somebody and call them out that is not what I mean when I say I STAN for somebody. I LOVE me some TI but he was wrong and is doing his time. That is all
The video is not that special, Beyonce gyrating as usual. Honestly she needs to be more creative and not shake her booty or gyrate her body in every video. Oh, she had guns in the video too so I guess she isnt a good role model
just the full vid and I have to say that I did not expect Beyonce to be relegated to look like a video chic in her own video. I say that to mean that she comes off more like eye candy in the video instead of the main artist. I really like her but I can’t say that those who have been calling her out for being to sexual are wrong. Tone it down Bey!:shrugs:

Nevermind…I watched it! I liked it, she looks great!! It is a little on the sexual side but hey that seemed to be the theme of the Sasha side of the album
Okay, wow. I didn’t even watch the snippet earlier. I just watched the whole thing & agree w/ those who indicated she looks like a video chic, not even standing out in her own ish. And okay you want a remix w/ Gaga, whatev. She ain’t need to be in the video. I liked the Beautiful Liar song/video. I don’t get the hype over Gaga….admittedly I haven’t heard her CD. She & Bey paired up seem like a desparate attempt for each to get a lil shine in the others audience. C’mon Charles & call it a FLOP!
I haven’t been checkin’ for videos for YEARS. (I do like that I INVENTED SEX video tho!!!! Sandra we need a smiley that’s fanning itself. Whether he’s ghey or not the video is the BIDNESS!) But back to Bey….she never (or at least in recent years) talked about the image she’s portraying for the young gurls. Wow. This was a bit of a letdown. No story just one long photoshoot. Gaga seemed so out of place. Hype Williams did not impress. This vid was so mediocre; I expected more Bey.
