More Hoodrat Stuff (”I Know one day you might Google us”)
Every attention whore has their day, and yesterday was Mashonda’s day to shine. I know she couldn’t wait to Twitpic these images of her son, Kasseem Jr., celebrating his birthday with his deadbeat dad Swizz Beatz at FAO Swartz toy store in Manhattan.
The kid looks depressed doesn’t he? Like he knows he was born to be a photo op for his narcissistic parents and nothing else. Little Kasseem Jr. looks like the walking wounded who’s seen one too many battles between his parents.
You can tell he’s undernourished, wearing a size 3T? My grandnephew is 2-years-old and wears a 4T.
Of course Kasseem’s self-absorbed parents don’t see the damage they’re doing to their son because, well, they’re self-absorbed. So they probably think if they throw enough money at him, such as buying him frivolous things like $400 Louis Vuitton sneakers, that he’ll forget they were horrible parents when he was little.
Mashonda even tweeted “I know one day you might Google us, but I just want you to know there was always love…” Isn’t it sad that the kid has to grow up and Google her tweet to see that they always loved him? Child protection services needs to step in and evaluate this child’s home environment.
Maybe Mashonda should lean on Solange Knowles for advice. Solo seems to be a really great mother to her son Julez.

I think Sandra is referring to him as a deadbeat because he willingly left his wife to be with another woman(alicia). This destroyed his family therefore leaving his son to be raised without his father in the home. She also says the parents are “self-absorbed” because they only seem to care (well at least swizz) about themselves and not the child they brought into the world. I don’t blame Mashonda for saying what she has. Swiss is a deadbeat because not only did he cheat on his wife he cheated his child!

Why are the comment sections turned off when pics of Tiny’s and Monica’s kids are posted? Why are their kids off limits but everyone else kids are not? I’ve never seen anything slightly negative posted about their parenting skills or how their kids look. IMO, ALL kids are off limits.

LovelyLady, I don’t think a kid should be talking like that. Freedom of expression in children is fine and well, as is being cultured - I encourage it in my home. It just leads me to think he’s obviously around people who are putting people in one category/labeling, etc… Just as ‘they’ do ‘us’ - He’s what, 4-5? What should he know if a Jew is cool? Being in the game since you were 17 does not make you famous or successful. He sold his first beat when he was 20. I have wikipedia to you know. The fact of the matter is, if he wanted to divorce her, he would have made it happen. He was trying to have his cake and eat it to. He could have recouped the money he lost from the divorce if they TRULY did separate two years ago as he is having people believe. I hope what is tween Alicia legs is worth him throwing away his marriage. Mashonda is still going through the stages of loss. That little boy looks on target for his age and is adorable. The parents look happy to be there to celebrate his big day regardless of their adult issues.
Furthermore, I am glad Mashonda took down her Twitter page. I know she was hurting/angry and needed an outlet for expression and revenge, but what she really needed was spiritual guidance.

LOL. Nawl, Sandra…I disagree with this statement. My daughter will be 3 on V-day, and she is rocking 24M/2T. And I know dayummm well she ain’t malnourished. I feed her some of the fattening good stuff just to get her weight up. Some kids are just tiny and have high metabolisms. She is healthy and growing and developing normally. Plus..look at Swizz. He is tiny himself. My daughter’s sperm donor is a T.I. look-a-like down to the weight. Skinny basterd!!

I really think that those who are telling Mashonda to move on is easier said than done when it happens to you. People have been airing their business for YEARS. It just so happens that the more technology the more people want to express themselves. Granted the consequences will come, but at the same time those grieving, ranting, expressing themselves will also have the opinions and encouragement of those who understand where they are in their life cause they have been through it. Back then you would call a friend or someone who doesn’t know how to console you in your situation. Now, in my opinion, if you express yourself online, if you allow, you have a more broader audience who might have gone through what you gone or currently going through to give words of encouragement. Its a catch 22.
