Can You Believe This Is a Billboard in Times Square?

What is this world coming to when a soccer mom can’t even drive through Times Square without covering her child’s eyes for fear of seeing a woman’s naked butt on a gigantic billboard?

I remember when stores covered up or hid X-rated magazines behind the counter with less flesh than this to avoid children’s curious eyes. What happened to our society’s morals?

This billboard featuring a fully unclothed reality TV personality Bethanny Frankel is brought to you courtesy of the anti-fur fanatics PETA for their “Fur? I’d Rather Go Naked” campaign. How about we’d rather not see Bethanny’s naked arse on a giant billboard?

I’m so glad I don’t live in New York.

    Yeah, the world is going to hell in a hand basket. Everything goes today. Next thing you know, we’ll be seeing sex acts right before our eyes on billboards advertising perfume. I guess we’re getting like Europe.

    Although, I understand your concern about this billboard I must say how hypocritical of you… look at the magazine’s that have all of our favorite singers and actors displayed so candidly on the front cover that we love so much and what about the T.V. shows and commercials be for real… just think if this Billboard was not up what would you be posting right now…. Rhianna???

    Sex & shock value are the flavors when it comes to advertising these days..But this is tame compared to some of the foreign ads you can view on youtube.

    I actually love Bethanny and I will definitely say her body looks great. I will though mention that I do not LIKE PETA nor do I like their ad campaigns or tactics. I think that whole organization needs to be shut down. There are far more better animal activist groups that do not humiliate, defame or deface celebs or humans for their preference over fur, or meats.

    You praise that trash bag Rhianna but there is a problem with people who fight against animal cruelty. At least this ad serves a purpose. What’s the point of Rhianna walking around like a street walker?

    *disclaimer* I don’t care about no damn PETA.

    Sandra, I agree with you 100%!! I’m no prude, not even close – in fact I’m a far left social-liberal if you will, but this is presposterous!!

    There’s a place for everything, and a naked woman’s body on a bill board in a public area is just NOT IT!! Where do we draw ANY LINES anymore in this nation?

    the agenda is to normalize things like this…to where people say “it isn’t a big deal…” it is a big deal, and it’s on a billboard for crying out loud…ridiculous.

    H-Townmama says:

    This is way too much. But I can hardly say Im surprised anymore…I am happy that the suburb I live in is strict about what advertisements can be displayed. We dont even allow the tall McDonald’s Arch or Jack in The Box Logo. Everything is at eye’s view while driving, theres no huge billborads everywhere like there is when you are in HOuston city limits.
    I think the introduction of nudity started when they allowed the cop on NYPD Blue to show his pale butt on tv. Yall remember that? I was a teenager and was like WTH?????
    Now, they show practically everything, soft care porn basically.
    The morals of this country have gone downhill drastically.
    Of course, those who are prepared spiritually know that this is to be…

    The morals of this country has gone way down. not only this country but, people also. This is what happens when u take God out of everything. People can care less about what kids see & think now days. Look at the movies, videos ,commerciels ect. It use to be a time when they didn’t allow actors/actresses playing married couples on tv sleep in the same bed on a show. Now they show them doing everything under the sun and then some. Sodam & Gomorrah all over again…

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Remember “I Love Lucy”? They were married in real life but had seperate beds. On “The Dick Van Dyke Show”, they also had seperate beds. My first memory of married ppl sleeping in the same bed (on a sitcom) was Carol and Mike Brady, and Carol did not go to bed with a scarf on her head or rollers and did not wear flannel PJs. :lol:
