Has Allen Iverson Lost His Swag?

Philadelphia never should have signed washed up guard Allen Iverson to a new contract. The reason is apparent in this short clip. The former king of the crossover, got burned the other night by Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey.

Iverson began his storied career in Philly as the #1 first round draft pick in 1996. But over the years he pissed away his talents in exchange for street cred as a NBA thug. It is mainly because of Iverson that the NBA instituted its strict dress code.

After a troubled career which involved a stint in federal prison, the 76ers traded the bad boy to Denver in 2006. Iverson announced his plans to retire from the NBA after being dropped by the Grizzlies on Nov. 16. He rejoined the 76ers on Dec. 2nd with a one year contract.

FYI they did stop watching. When he came into the league the NBA was at its peak in popularity. He introduced wanabe thug life (low hanging pants, corn rows, tats and that I don’t giveafu<k attitude) to the NBA and its been down hill every since. The NBA is just recovering from those negative images. Unfortunately, an entire generation of black teenagers was influenced by this clown.
