50 Cent’s album may have flopped, but this sex scene from Fiddy’s movie “Before I Self Destruct” just made his stock go back up.

Pleasure P’s Statement
I’m sure most of you have seen this already. I was out & about last night so I missed the latest update on this story. But as many of us suspected, this story was bogus right from the start.
I think most of us bloggers acted irresponsibly in our handling of this story. This is a classic case of jumping the gun before we got all of our ducks in a row. It illustrates the importance of not relying on blogs for your news.
When an industry cat called me about this story on Wednesday, the last thing he said to me was, “make sure you do your research before you post this.” But like a dummy, I didn’t listen to him.
I missed major red flags right from the start. Such as the fact that the source was a random, anonymous chick on Twitter(!). The supposedly “sealed” court documents that she posted online were incomplete and missing vital information such as a docket # and the jurisdiction/courts where the papers were filed in.
If this story was legit, she would have gone mainstream with it. And to use the excuse that the mainstream media didn’t pick up on this story because they’re not aware of who Pretty Ricky or Pleasure P are, is ridiculous.
I’ve seen the media get worked up over lesser known urban artists than them!
The reality is that media outlets like TMZ.com and People.com used caution and common sense in not running with a with a totally unsubstantiated story that had the potential to ruin lives and careers.
Here’s Pleasure P’s official statement that was posted on Atlantic Records website yesterday:
The following statement was issued by Marcus Cooper p/k/a Pleasure P through his attorney Robert Meloni, Meloni & McCaffrey, P.C., [Contact info removed].
“All of the recent rumors and accusations that are being circulated about me are 100% false. They are disgusting and vile; and they are being spread by individuals with their own sick agendas. The purported documents that are also being circulated are forgeries. I have never met or known anyone by the name of “AGoldstein” or Laura Goldstein or Ashley Goldstein, which I believe are fictitious names. I have never been represented by an attorney named Goldstein. For someone to go to such depths to assassinate my character and slander my good name is truly criminal. My attorneys are investigating this matter and will take all necessary and appropriate action to protect my name and reputation.”

FanMAIL: XXL’s Top 10 Freshman Class (Look Who’s Not On It)
This was sent to me by a loyal reader who asked to remain anonymous. It appears to be a cover shoot that XXl magazine is working on for their Jan/Feb 2010 issue.
The Freshman class boasts such notable up-and-coming rappers as Nicki Minaj, Nipsey Hustle and Wiz Khalifa. But looks whose name did not make the list.

The talk around the office is that Drake’s people didn’t think it was a good look for him to be on the cover with unproven artists, so there are some fill ins and im sure you can tell who they are. Is The White House Covering Up For Desiree Rogers?
It seems that the president has pulled rank (again) to protect one of his friends from public scrutiny. According to online reports, Desiree Rogers, the embattled Social Secretary whose office dropped the ball last week allowing party crashers to embarrass the president at the 1st state dinner, will not be required to testify before Congress today.
So much for Obama’s promise of transparency in his administration.
Wasn’t it her job to make sure Obama’s prestigious guests were greeted properly at the gate and not by Security? As a White House employee who represents the people, the public has a right to know exactly what went wrong — even though we can pretty much guess.
The decision is not likely to be contested by Democrats on the House Homeland Security Committee, saving Rogers a potentially embarrassing turn in the hearing-room spotlight. Since Rogers was only invited, not subpoenaed, to testify by the ranking Republican on the committee, New York Representative Pete King, she faces no legal consequences for declining to attend. But this will only add fuel to the fire that Obama hired his Chicago cronies as a political favor, and they have no clue what they are doing in the Obama administration.

Is Janet Jackson Ill? Why Is She Losing So Much Weight?
Pop legend Janet Jackson was spotted strolling through London’s Heathrow airport today with her bodyguard.
I can’t help but notice how rail thin she is. This is unusual for Janet who normally has an uphill struggle with her weight. Janet’s clothes were literally hanging off her body and the paparazzi remarked that she was skin and bones.
Janet has been through a lot lately with the untimely passing of her brother Michael Jackson and the break up of her longterm relationship with music mogul Jermaine Dupri who couldn’t keep it in his pants.
Still, she seemed to be in good spirits as she smiled for the cameras. But a 41-year-old woman should not have the body of a prepubescent boy.
