PICS: Tiny’s Nail Bar Grand Opening
Former Xscape member Tameka “Tiny” Cottle realized her dreams of being an entrepreneur and business owner when she opened her Tiny’s Nail Bar salon to the public last night. Well wishers included family, friends and fans who packed into the salon at 3540 Walt Stephens Road just off Hwy 138 in Stockbridge, GA – just outside of Atlanta.

Everyone complimented Tiny on her personal style, her hair and the salon’s decor – especially the bathroom – which she designed.
BET was on location filming for the 2nd season of Tiny & Toya’s popular show.

Reg is a good color for a nail salon. It inspires the sense of urgency (unlike blue and neutral colors) and customers will be more likely to make impulse add-ons. (Think McDonalds)

I’m glad to see an African-American owned nail salon. The last one I saw was in the very small town I grew up in – but it’s closed, now. There are none in my city, and if lived in ATL I’d give them a visit. Maybe they will influence others to follow suit.

Sorry Sandra but that is not true. I’ve gotten my nails done plenty of times while being served alcohol. I live near bal harbor ( I am actually in South Beach, but bal is calmer to go shop/handle my biz ) and the salons dont advertise it, but bishes be leaving ready to catch a dui EZ!

I heard them talking about it on the radio. They said that if the cheating went down in one of those states, that Tiger’s wife could sue. So, the one’s he paid off with money she can take them to court and sue for cheating with her husband and possibly get the money he paid out to them. Also, sue and get whatever money they get in the future if they wasn’t paid off.

I don’t think attorney mom likes to get asked legal questions. I remember a post a little while back, she says unless you’re paying her $400 hourly fee (dont quote me) she doesnt want to be asked. But she didn’t use that wording, it wasn’t mean like. But i do remember her saying she didn’t like it.

I think she’s going to avoid you like the plague. I believe in most states, it’s illegal to drive without insurance. The best you can hope is that she owns property or has a job. You can always sue, and end up garnishing her check or file to put a lien on any property she owes. Something to that affect.
also, i hope you filed a police report.

i have the police report and nyes it is illegal so she got 2 tickets. I know I’m gonna have to sue I just wanted to know what all I can due before getting an attorney. Most ppl I’ve talked to told me it ain’t ish she can do ’cause I didn’t hit her & it’s not my fault she swerved & injured herself; just as if I had wrecked my car from swerving from her I couldn’t say it was her fault.

If you are not in a no fault State look at your policy to see if you have uninsured/underinsured property damage coverage. Usually it will cover up to $7500(for your vehicle) after a $250 deductible. You may also have medical payments for you and your passanger and uninsured/underinsured for bodily injury. Most agents won’t write a policy without it because it only cost alittle more without having to have collision and comp insurance.

Then you will have to sue her. Liability really isn’t what you think it is. I have liability on some of my cars but I have uninsured/underinsured(for property damage and bodily injury w/medical payments. When you start adding collision, comp, towing and car rental that is when it becomes full coverage.
Anybody ever have a co-worker or two, that you just wanna slap the livin horse sh*t out of on a damn near daily basis

In your case this could be a he said, she said. You gave her your info and she could have made a claim for bodily injury and even filed a police report. I had a customer who moved to Michigan (a no fault state) he got into a accident but his vehilce was not damaged. He did not change his insurance over from Ohio and gave the other driver his Insurance Card. His Ohio Insurance paid the claim but had he transfered his policy to a Michigan one each would have taken care of their own damage and being he didn’t have any he would not have that claim on his record.
I just found out I can file paperwork at the dept of public safety and they’ll suspend her license until she pays me
Thx Anna. I have full coverage so if she pursues my insurance I’m not trippin’ on that, I just don’t want her to be tryna sue me/obtain jugdments.

Good news. In Ohio if you don’t have insurance at the time of the accident they can tow your car and you lose your drivers license for 90 days and have to pay a $125 reinstatement fee and have to carry a SR22/Financial Responsibility bond for 5 yrs. Not worth it to me.

Tiny’s hair is flaming red. I don’t even know what to say about it but I will say that she must have gotten some face work done. This is the best we’ve seen her look in a LONG time. She getting ready for Tip.
Good for her on the salon. I will have to stop by after I visit Kandi’s store TAGS.
No matter how hard she tries, how much money Tip spends Tiny will always look like a hood rat. The Kool aid red hair is sooo projectish. And nothing can help this girls face. I do hope her business venture flourishes and it doesn’t cease when the warden, uh, I mean T.I comes home :rollingeyes:
