I have to use your comment as part of this however. I am not real sure what is being said by those who make comments like, there are two sides of the story, and you weren’t there and so on. These statements are mostly reserved or presumably reserved in an attempt to defend or deflect responsibility from Chris Brown.

LADIES, short of RiRi stabbing CB’s momma in front of him, he does not deserve empathy for his actions that night.

Her battered face was there and tells the other side of the story of what happened that night quite well as well as the fact that he has never denied the intensity of the beating either.

Chris did more than mug her face in an effort to snap her out of her hysteria over the texts.

He did more than grab her arms or put up a protective forearm to keep her from hitting him.

HE did more than push her away in an attempt to put space between the two of them. He beat her. Point blank BEAT HER, about the face and body.

Now, allow me to state: I am part of that community that wants to forgive CB. And see his career recover. I give credence to his redemption.

But doing so does not mean I minimize the actions he chose that night. They are never to be excused or justified.
