Daisy it’s hard when someone so close to us is very ill. I don’t know what I would do without my daddy if anything happend to him. Not to take light of your Gma but at least she gets a chance for the doctors to help her. My mom never had a chance. My dad took her out for a date night over 30 yrs. ago and he came home alone without his wife, our mother. We are still keeping your Gma in our prayers. I am not being insentive to anyone who has lost a family member, but to lose one early in life has to be easier than to lose one when you are a grown up. Not sure if what I am trying to say is making sense to anybody. We all want our family to be here forever and for them to out live us so we don’t have to feel that pain. The longer you know someone the more it hurts.
@Anna I get what you are saying. I have a gfriend whose mother died almost 10yrs ago she was diabetic called her to take her to the hospital cause she wasnt feeling well and died within hrs 2 this day my friend says she never thought she would be leaving the hospital w/o her mother that day. I have another friend who is younger than I am and both her parents are dead I cant even imagine. Sorry for your loss and thanks for sharing!

My grandbaby will be a month old Friday and my mom is not here to share her with me nor did she ever get to meet my kids/her grandkids. I know she is so happy for me and is looking down on all of us. I am ok. Let me figure out now why you all like BGC. They are a hot mess.
We’ve all suffered some sort of loss in our lives that have hurt us tremendously….when my grandma died I was so sad but at the same time I wanted her back for my own selfish reasons but God wanted her. So I realized I can’t get her back but I miss her and she will always be my grandma dead or alive..I am a denial person so it took a while for me to accept her death I cried so much wanting to get her back but I just remember the good times and that makes me better ..

That’s what I am talking about. Grandmas were the biz. when I would run away from home, my daddy knew where I was, at his moms/my grannys getting my grub and , and “my dad doesn’t understand me cry on. When my kids ran away from home, they were not allowed to cross the street. The neighbors would call me and say I have your kid and we are eating Pizza.
I was always good w/ my gma overall but I gave my mama holy hell I was
at the world during 11/12th grades. She put me out twice cause I was hell on wheels with my attitude and temper. I broke a tv, window and door I cant believe I am alive to tell all this!

My hubby has as many sibs as I do. He would also run away, but his granny lived right across the field/lot. My granny lived across town and I would walk to a pay phone and have her pick me up. I was not a rotten kid, I just thought I wanted to be an only child. I thank GOD I am now older and not an only chid, we had a sis that loved to throw pencils/scissors and everything in her path to hurt you. One day mom and dad came home and we didn’t have the only tv we had anymore that never had cable any way.

I had a lump in one of mine at the age of 13, and a cyst in the other. Yes yall, 13. I had to get an ultrasound, and all types of tests done. Thank God it ended up only being tissue.
