A loyal reader scanned through my Exclusive interview with LisaRaye. My reader sent over these pics of LisaRaye posing at her birthday party with local club promoter Slimm who is currently dating Vivica A. Fox. In her email, she writes: “LisaRaye says she’s not a Cougar, but isn’t this Vivica’s man that she’s pushing up on in some club?”
I emailed her back and let her know that its not unusual for a celebrity to pose with the promoter who booked her. I see nothing Cougar-ish about these photos. I swear some females can be so messy.

I love Lupe. Food and Liquor was a great album to me.. I played it constantly…..People sleep on him but he speaks truth….these silly lil rappers will never get it.
If he’s a promoter there will be a lot of pictures with him and women (celebs or not). It doesn’t mean he’s some big ho bag.
Additionally, everytime two celebs of the opposite sex are pictured together(and sometimes of the same sex) someone wants to start a rumor that they are together. You can’t win for losing.

@ Watson, It took Common a long journey to receive mainstream success and recognition. And a lot of that is credited to Kanye. I think Kanye’s breakthrough success really opened the door for Common. Despite his ego and crazy behaivor, he’s a great producer. Not the best rapper but better than most these days.
