ObamaCare “Dead” If Brown Wins; Let The Finger Pointing Begin

Hopefully, those of you who care about the direction your government is leading this country in are aware of the special elections going on right now in Boston, Mass.

Scott Brown, a Republican, is poised to knock off U.S. president Barack Obama’s choice to fill the late Sen. Ted Kennedy’s vacant Senate seat. Sen. Martha Coakley, a Democrat, is trailing in all polls. Obama needs this win if he is to save his legacy (since that’s all he really cares about).

Republicans have argued that a Scott Brown victory today would stop ObamaCare in its tracks. Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi insist that it won’t. On today’s “Morning Joe,” Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) agreed with Republicans, saying that he would have a “difficult time” voting for what he sees as an inferior Senate bill. Read More…

I think the only person to blame if she loses is Coakley herself. She hasn’t done a great job of campaigning anyway. And the Democrats have never had a strong 60 to pass the bill anyway. This will be good to shake some sense into the Dems.

Thank you! Everytime this issue comes up, I ask people, have you READ the proposed bill and/or been keeping up with the changes? Usually I get crossed eyes. The bandwagon is long!

I completely agree with the both of you. It sickens me how some people can blindly follow this man and anything he “supports”. Get a backbone and educate yourself. Obama, who wishes to pass it as soon as possible, has NOT read this bill. And yet he’s cramming it down our throats? You’d be disgusted if you read this bill and all it stands for. Wake up.

I am incomplete agreement on your statement. If there has been anything that has caused me discomfort regarding Obama Politics, it is def this issue. I feel as if I am being underinformed on purpose. I feel like that this bill is camaflouge for some thing else. I feel like he is talking over my head in regards to this specific issue.

I pretty much agree w/ everything everyone has said here. It will be good for the Dems to lose, so Obama and the Congress can actually come up w/ a real healthcare bill instead of the BS they are passing off on us. I am a Obama supporter, but I cannot support this effort at ALL.

Yeah I have to agree…. I love me some Obama but he needs to get down w/ the get down and stop being a puppet…. This healthcare bill that he is pushing and hoping to get passed and if passed is what he will run off of for the next term..if it is successful that is! Folks this is what we call Checks & Balances…I’ll be voting today! Not sure what this 1,000+ paged healthcare bill is about, but perhaps if the dems lose they can get their act together. And when folks get tired of republicans we can vote them out too!
