Monica Talks Her Girl Keyshia Cole into Joining Twitter

R&B Diva Monica talked her pregnant BFF Keyshia Cole into joining the micro-blogging, social networking site Twitter.com. Mo’s twitter page is Twitter.com/MonicaMyLife, where she interacts with her fans and shares daily motivational tweets.

Twitter is not for everybody, as convicted woman beater Chris Brown and other immature celebs have learned. If you’re compulsive and immature with poor impulse control, twitter could wreck your career — or at least cause annoying problems for celebs.
American Idol judge Randy Jackson found out just that this week when he asked his twitter followers to help him pick his choices for the Grammys. It seems that is a big no-no in Grammy land — and Grammy officials were quick to point that out to him. Jackson couldn’t lie and say it wasn’t his account, or that he was hacked. So instead he blamed the errant tweets on an assistant.
So does that mean his assistant regularly updates his Twitter account?

Finally we get to see pics of pop singer Rihanna without that attention seeking bench warmer Matt Kemp hanging all over her. Why can’t women tell when they are being used?

Rihanna got in some quality time with her girl Melissa on a jet ski in Cabo, Mexico yesterday. That’s Mel in a new long lacefront flipping the paps the bird.

We LOVE Melissa’s new look! Long hair is so becoming on her.

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am looks dapper in a quilted smoking jacket and Chanel men’s boots with laces flying in the wind. He’s become something of a fashion plate lately.

PICS: People’s Choice Awards 2010

Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson looked stunning in a floor length gown at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards held in L.A. last night. You’ll be happy to know I’ve finally gotten over my obsession with her. But it wasn’t easy.

Mary J Blige and her husband Kendu prove that a little squabbling is healthy in your marriage. The happy couple attended the 2010 People’s Choice Awards together last night.

Country music sensation Taylor Swift won a People’s Choice award last night. But she lost the honor of most albums sold in 2009 to deceased pop legend Michael Jackson. Jackson sold over 8 million albums in 2009 to Swift’s 4 million. Susan Boyle was a close third with almost 4 million albums sold. Boyle went over the 4 million mark in the first week of January 2010. An awesome feat for a newcomer.

Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Taylor Lauter, 17, won a PCA award last night.

Actor Ashton Kutcher took home a PCA award for most followers on Twitter.com. He’s such a narcissist. That’s actress Jessica Alba posing with him. She needs to wash her hair.

Singer Mariah Carey got a lot of mileage out of her drunken acceptance speech Tuesday night at the Palm Springs International Film Festival awards gala. Too bad she didn’t do a repeat last night at the People’s Choice Awards. We would all have something to talk about since the awards itself was so blah.

R&B Diva Fantasia blew kisses to he BET 16 & Park audience. Home wrecking is her specialty now and she isn’t ashamed of it. I hear she’s still huggin’ and kissin’ on another woman’s husband despite all her denials. She also conveniently covers up the tattoo that bears evidence of her sins. When she was here in Atlanta this weekend, she hired huge burly bodyguards to make sure no one got close enough to see her tatt.

Fantasia should own stock in MAC makeup since it does wonders for her.

Rapper-turned actress/singer Queen Latifah and actress Dania Ramirez attended the Covergirl Clean Makeup For Clean Water Campaign Announcement at Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday in Beverly Hills, California. Lah looks like she’s thinking dirty thoughts about Dania. Can you blame her? (Getty Images)

Music mogul Russell Simmons (L) looks odd and out of place standing next to a black woman, doesn’t he? Simmons and model Georgianna Robertson attended the premiere of “Leap Year” in New York City yesterday — obviously not together.

Actors Christopher Meloni and Ice-T on the set of their popular TV show “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, currently filming in New York City.

Pregnant reality TV personality and author Bethenny Frankel signed copies of her book “The Skinnygirl Dish” at Borders Books & Music in NYC yesterday.

Dating Site Boots Fat Members

A dating website has come under attack for discriminating against its calorically challenged members.
According to the NY Post, the website owner abruptly canceled the accounts of over 5,000 members who committed the sin of gaining extra pounds over the holidays.
Beautifulpeople.com — a meet-up site with a strict “no ugly people policy” — announced that it has had to trim the fat to the bone for 2010 by banning 5,000 members who packed on too much weight during the holidays.
“We were getting a lot of complaints from members who were meeting with people who gained a lot of weight or who gained weight in their photo albums,” said the Denmark-based free site’s managing director, Greg Hodge.
Beautifulpeople.com has about 500,000 members from around the world. Each has to go through a rigorous entry process, only getting voted in if their fellow members find them sexy enough.
The site now only lets members of the opposite sex vote members out because, Hodge noted, lots of women were voting other women out to simply cut down on the competition.

Is rapper T-Pain supposed to be sexy? Teddy Pain? I don’t get it?
Diddy Caught On Tape Committing a Felony
We already know that music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs can’t brag about himself or his material possessions enough. So when he saw an opportunity to flaunt his wealth in everyone’s faces while a video camera was rolling, he did so. But Diddy took his in-your-face antics a step too far when he ripped up a $50 bill on camera.
Maybe no one explained to Diddy that it is a felony — punishable by prison time and stiff penalties — to rip up government property?
According to the U.S. Treasury Department, it is against federal law to flagrantly deface, mutilate, spindle, impair, [or] diminish, federal bank notes in use or circulation as money within the U.S. (18 U.S.C. 331).
Hopefully, no one from the federal government or treasury department reads my blog.
